Best of the Best 2009
October 6, 2009
Grady Cole Center-Charlotte, NC

The Grady Cole Center is packed, fans of various ages and sizes mill about waiting for the show to begin. The fans here know there are only four matches,
but that the matches are huge. Chet Whetleson walks over to one fan, the video camera behind him to record the young man’s thoughts.

CHET WHETLESON: So, what do you think about tonight’s show?

YOUNG MAN: My name is Dave and I am extremely excited about seeing Jenny Jersey inside the ring.

Chet laughs a bit as Dave blushes red.

CHET WHETLESON: So, you have a thing for Jenny?

DAVE: What sane guy doesn’t?

Chet nods giving his agreement.

CHET WHETLESON: Which match are you looking forward to?

DAVE: I think the World Title match is going to be amazing.

Jenny walks over to a twenty something man, she has a cameraman present with her as well.

JENNY JERSEY: Excuse me sir, we are wondering which match are you most looking forward to?

MAN: The finals of the Best of the Best are going to blow the roof off this place.

Jenny nods as she moves on to a young girl wearing a vintage Cuzin’ Zeke shirt.

JENNY JERSEY: Hey honey, I bet you are looking forward to the Cuzin’ Zeke match aren’t you.

The little girl nods and blushes.

GIRL: He is my favorite, no matter if he is with FTC.

Jenny pats her on the shoulder as we move to Chet, who is with a teenage girl.

CHET WHETLESON: I’m here with Tiffany and we are going to get her thoughts on the upcoming card.

TIFFANY: I just love Marxx, he is so fine, makes me want to jump up and scream.

Chet raises an eyebrow as we cut to inside the arena where Jenny Jersey is walking down into the ring to the tune of “These Boots” by Jessica Simpson.

JENNY JERSEY: Ladies and Gentlemen, you are here to witness four awesome matches here tonight, the World Title match between Mikey Massacre and “The Show”
The crowd explodes.

JENNY JERSEY: The finals of the Best of the Best Tournament between The Phoenix and Scottie Snow taking on The Freak Show!

Another big pop.

JENNY JERSEY: FTC

The crowd boos loudly.

JENNY JERSEY: Taking on the Jonas Brothers.

The boos are loud, but there is a smattering of cheers from the crowd.

JENNY JERSEY: Duncan Aries taking on Marxx taking on Kid Loser in a triple threat to start off the show!

The crowd cheers.

JENNY JERSEY: And the action will begin right after the Rebel Pro theme song finishes playing to allow people to make their way to their seats.

“I’m A Rebel” hits the speakers with a loud blast, and Jenny Jersey makes her way out of the ring.

——————————————————————————–

JENNY JERSEY: The following Triple-Threat match is set for one fall!

But “I’m A Rebel” begins to play again, REBEL owner Larry Gordon steps through the curtain, microphone in hand.

LARRY GORDON: REBEL fans, I have an announcement to make. Here in REBEL Pro we take you the fans very seriously, and every wrestler is contractually obligated
to record a promo for our website, for you fans to watch, every show they’re booked on. Kid Loser has not recorded his promo for this match, he has not
answered phone calls… so Kid Loser? Is fired from this company! This next match will be a one-on-one contest now!

Gordon turns back through the curtain as the fans chant “See ya later, Loser.” “Shackler’s Revenge” by (not) Guns N’ Roses picks up. The crowd look on
as Marxx steps through the curtain. Some fans cheer, others laugh, many seem uninterested…

JENNY JERSEY: Introducing first, weighing in at two-hundred and thirty one pounds… from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Canada… MARXX!

COREY TAYLOR: Wrestling superstar Marxx making his REBEL Pro debut tonight!

ROB MARTINEZ: “Debut?” Corey, you were at “Prove Your Worth” when the “Midnight Role Model” competed in a four-way #1 Contender’s Cup match. Well, I used
the word “competed” in a technical term — Vincent Black dominated all three opponents in that one!

COREY TAYLOR: I meant his SINGLES debut.

A Perfect Circle is next on the playlist, and that brings out Duncan Aries! He receives a decent response as he heads to the ring.

JENNY JERSEY: And his opponent! Weighing two-hundred and thirty-eight pounds, from San Diego California… “THE SPADE” DUNCAN ARIES!

ROB MARTINEZ: Duncan Aries ready for a second go-round here in REBEL Pro, after a brief pitstop here last fall. One has to wonder if he’s for real this
time?

COREY TAYLOR: We’ll see what he’s made of. We saw last show that REBEL Pro is not for the faint of heart!

ROB MARTINEZ: Marxx can tell you all about that…

COREY TAYLOR: Vincent Black is a MONSTER. CAKED.

ROB MARTINEZ: *sigh*

Referee Jimmy Johnson calls for the bell.

DING DING

Collar and elbow tie-up OH! Marxx with a cheap shot to Aries. He whips his man to the ropes, back elbow is ducked, Aries off the ropes with a spinning
heel kick! Marxx gets up quickly, only to meet a roundhouse kick! Up again, Marxx charges and runs right into a flying head scissors! Marxx slaps the mat
and rolls outside, frustrated. The fans jeer him, Marxx glares…

ARIES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! Nails Marxx, crashing him into the guard rail! He calls for a steel chair from a fan. Marxx gets up, Aries tosses him the chair
— ROUNDHOUSE! WHAMMO! FOOT TO CHAIR TO FACE! The crowd chants “REBEL, REBEL, REBEL” as Aries picks up Marxx and whips him into the guardrail. No, reversed
— CANADIAN LEG SWEEP! On the concrete! Marxx rolls Aries into the ring and follows. Aries on his feet, Marxx knees him in the gut. THE PARTY CRASHER!
One, two, kick-out by Aries. Marxx not happy with that count, but he takes Aries down and grabs a chinlock.

ROB MARTINEZ: Never a wise decision at a REBEL Pro event… these fans want their action totally non-stop!

COREY TAYLOR: Who cares about giving the fans what they want? It’s all about the win!

The crowd chants “LAZY, LAZY” at Marxx. Aries forces his way to the feet, one, two, three elbows and he’s free! He hits the ropes SNAP. Marxx with a hair
grab snaps him back to the canvas. Marxx picks his man up… THE D.S.C.! One, two, kick-out!

Marxx tosses Aries out of the ring, then follows. He picks up the nearest steel chair. He charges Aries — Aries dodges! Marxx hits the ring post with
the chair, turns around — Aries is on the ring apron DIVE! HURACANRANA ON THE OUTSIDE! Aries fires away a flurry of punches at Marxx, then tosses him
into the ring. Marxx stomps him as he gets in and Irish Whips him off. Reversed by Aries… tilt-a-whirl sideslam on Marxx! Cover one, two, kick-out! Both
men back up, Marxx swings, Aries ducks and hits a huge kick right across Marxx’s chest. The crowd “oohs” at the *thud*. Another stiff shot to Marxx, Aries
knocks the man down with a jumping knee. One, two, kick-out!

ROB MARTINEZ: Aries is building momentum here, using his martial arts prowess to great effect here!

COREY TAYLOR: At least Marxx is lasting longer than he did LAST show.

Aries picks up Marxx, looking for The Culmination — Marxx elbows him in the head. Kick to the gut — BK BOMB! Connects! ONE, TWO, KICK-OUT! Aries can’t
believe it, holding up three fingers to the referee, who raises two fingers high. Two count only. Marxx says it’s over, looking for his finisher… but
Aries gets out. Jawbreaker! Marxx bends over, holding his chin. Could have bit his tongue or busted a tooth on that AX KICK! Aries takes his man down with
authority! Aries looks for a cover, but Marxx is in the ropes.

ROB MARTINEZ: It’s no DQ in REBEL Pro, but the referee won’t count a pinfall in the ropes!

COREY TAYLOR: That’s going to cost Aries! He’s given Marxx the opportunity to come back.

Aries pulls Marxx up — LOW BLOW. Aries is staggered! Marxx rolls his man up, feet on the ropes — referee doesn’t see it! ONE! TWO!

KICK-OUT!

Marxx can’t believe it! He’s really incensed now, arguing with the referee. But Aries is getting to his feet! Marxx turns around — huge kick to the chest
stuns him! THE CULMINATION! No cover though… ARIES LOCKS ON THE ACE OF SPADES! Marxx taps out in a hurry! It’s over!

JENNY JERSEY: Here is your winner by submission, “THE SPADE” DUNCAN ARIES!

ROB MARTINEZ: Well, Marxx gave a lot more than he did in his first match in REBEL Pro Wrestling… but it wasn’t nearly enough against a very, very impressive
Duncan Aries!

COREY TAYLOR: I’ll give you that… but let’s see if he shows up for more than a handful of dates this time around!

The crowd, at any rate, has decided they like what Duncan Aries brings to the table, cheering as the referee raises his hand in victory.

——————————————————————————–

“Everyone I Went to High School With Is Dead” plays throughout the arena as the first team makes their way to the ring.

JENNY JERSEY: At a total combined weight of four hundred and sixty-six pounds here are JIM and TOMMY… THE JONAS BROTHERS!

As the Jonas’s music fades it is replaced by “Carbomb”

JENNY JERSEY: And their opponents weighing six hundred and four pounds CUZIN’ ZEKE and VINCENT BLACK… the FTC!

After dropping their titles at the top of the ramp the FTC duo hit the ring running but the Jonas Brothers are one step ahead of them as beer bottles meet
skulls. Zeke and Vincent are temporarily stunned by the 12oz assault by Tommy and Jim and the brothers continue the assault. Tommy squares off with Zeke
and Jim starts trying to take down Black. The brothers have the advantage until Vincent Black uses his size and power to impose his will on Jim. Several
clubbing blows drive Jim Jonas down to his knees. The FTC’s big man stomps brutally on the bigger of the two Jonas’ as Zeke slams Tommy hard to the mat
and follows up with an elbow-drop. Black whips Jim into the ropes and knocks him back down with a very stiff clothesline. Vincent goes for a quick pin.
But there’s still fight in Jim as he kicks out at 2.

ROB MARTINEZ: The Jonas Brothers not backing down here against the more experienced duo of Black and Zeke.

COREY TAYLOR: Jonas Brothers showing why they were Rebel Tag Champs and FTC showing why they hold everything except the Tag Championships.

Jim fires some hard rights to Vincent’s mid-section and stumbles the big man. On the other side of the ring Tommy has floored Zeke with a hard low-blow
and joins his brother in double-teaming Black. The two Jonas Brothers pound on the Number One Contender as the Carolinas Champion attempts to pull himself
together. The Jonas’ hit their Flapjack DDT on Black and Tommy covers as Jim goes to intercept Cuzin Zeke. Vincent Black kicks out at 2 as Jim sends Zeke
into the corner and follows in with a splash. While Jim maybe temporarily in charge of Cuzin Zeke it leaves Tommy trying to tackle Vincent and that’s not
a good thing for the Jonas Brothers. Black punishes the smaller Jonas brother with a Pump-Handle Slam followed by a brutal Sitdown Spinebuster. At the
same time the battle between Zeke and Jim Jonas has spilled out of the ring and the two of them exchange chair shots. Jim gains a momentary advantage as
he ducks a charge from Zeke, which causes him to run straight into the ringpost. As Zeke leans against the ringpost trying to regain his senses, Jim Jonas
slams a chair upside the back of his head, sending Zeke down to a knee. In the ring Vincent paint-brushes and insults Tommy as he notices the carnage going
on outside the ring and goes to help his partner.

ROB MARTINEZ: That wasn’t good for Zeke’s skull.

COREY TAYLOR: I don’t know who’s skull it would be good for besides your’s.

Vincent steps over the ropes and jumps down off the ring apron. Vincent picks up the chair discarded by Zeke and waffles Jim Jonas with it. With Tommy down
inside the ring the FTC members stomp away on Jim Jonas. Cuzin Zeke and Vincent Black take turns abusing Jim Jonas. Zeke with a standing Piledriver followed
up with a Two-Handed Chokeslam by Black. As the big Kentuckian and the large New Yorker trade high-impact moves on Jim Jonas they forget about or ignore
Tommy Jonas right up until he comes over the top rope in a suicide plancha that takes them both out. As the other three men are regaining their feet Jim
Jonas regains his senses and a chair and serves up wicked chairshot after wicked chairshot to both Black and Zeke. The two brothers toss Zeke into the
ring and Jim climbs in after him but Tommy floors Vincent Black with another low blow before climbing the turnbuckles and flies off with a big splash after
Jim puts the smaller (by comparison) member of the FTC team down with a Brainbuster. Tommy covers Zeke and gets a two count before Black, getting back
in the ring , breaks up the count with a hard kick to the back of Tommy’s head and then catches a charging Jim with a boot to the face. Jim Jonas Responds
with a dropkick to the small of Vincent’s back and stomps away on Zeke. Meanwhile Tommy escapes too much punishment from Zeke via his favorite maneuver
the low blow.

ROB MARTINEZ: Yet another low blow from Tommy here in this match.

COREY TAYLOR: Remind you of what you don’t have?

Enjoying the advantage the Jonas Brothers string together several impressive double-team moves but are unable to put the FTC down for the count. Everything
they go for a cover either the FTC duo’s superior power allows them to kick out or they are able to save their partner. Jim and Tommy grow increasingly
frustrated every time they are unable to put Zeke or Vincent away. Once again they leave the ring in search of weapons but this time the FTC are right
behind them. Cuzin Zeke and Vincent Black hit the brothers from behind and stop them before they get any weapons. The twosome of Zeke and Black quickly
separate the brothers and work on wearing them down. Vincent leaves Tommy laying after a particularly brutal Chokeslam into the ring steps. Zeke tosses
Jim back under the ropes after using the chair Jim picked up against him. Vincent throws Tommy between the second and top rope and then climbs in after
him. The Jonas Brothers were holding their own for a while but their luck seems to have run out. Zeke is methodically wearing down Jim and Black is toying
with Tommy like a cat would with a dead mouse.

ROB MARTINEZ: Just a matter of time now before someone gets hurt.

COREY TAYLOR: Wish it would be you.

Vincent tortures Tommy with high impact after high impact moves as Zeke starts to have his way with Jim Jonas. The FTC even take time to argue with the
fans feeling that they have things well in hand at this point. The Jonas Brothers make a last ditch effort to mount a comeback but it’s all for nothing.
Cuzin Zeke and Vincent Black nod at each other and decide to stop playing around and end the match. Each FTC member drags his opponent to the middle of
the ring or close to a corner and then Zeke connects with the Mudpuddle on Jim at the same time that Vincent hits the New Hope on Tommy. A double cover
is made with Zeke making a traditional cover on Jim and Vincent just putting a foot on Tommy chest….

One.…

Two.…

Three.….

DING! DING! DING!

JENNY JERSEY:Here are your winners CUZIN ZEKE and VINCENT BLACK THE FTC!

ROB MARTINEZ: The Jonas Brothers gave it a good showing here in this contest.

COREY TAYLOR: Yeah, but FTC is a dominating presence here in professional wrestling.

——————————————————————————–

From the house speakers we hear the sound of a motorcycle revving followed by the frenetic guitar rifts opening “Tu Veneño” by Natialia Oreiro. Through
the curtain steps Rebel Pro’s luchan libremente en residencia. Corazones, his short cape covering obviously bandaged ribs, waves with one hand to the crowd
as he leans heavily with the other on a rather sturdy looking silver headed cane. Mariposas just stares intently toward the ring, or to be more precise
at Vincent Black.

With the attention turned toward them, El Rey slowly raises the microphone to his lips and motions to the crew to cut his music short.

(To purposfully misquote Shakespear, I am here not to bury Mr. Black but to praise him. Vincent,
you fought well at our last encounter and truly deserve your position as the contender’s cup holder. I cannot speak for the other two in our match but
I myself found my own performance to be both amature and wanting.)

Casanova raises his hands in front of him and slowly begins to applaud. After a few moments his prompting spawns a smattering of like actions from the audience
but not many.

Corazones: Tristemente, es también con el corazón pesado que debo anunciar mi retiro de la arena de lucha. (Sadly, it is also with heavy heart that I must
announce my retirement from the wrestling arena.)

ROB MARTINEZ: DO WHAT?!

COREY TAYLOR: He said that he was a quitter and couldn’t hack it here in Rebel Pro.

This pronouncement raises some cries of disapointment and disbelief among Rey’s fans in attendance.

Awww,
al infierno con esta mierda! (Now, Vinnie, before you do as I suspect you will and take credit for “Retiring the King of Hearts” I want to let everyone
here know that last weeks match had nothing to do with my decision. Several weeks ago I got a letter from my father. In the note he … Aw, to hell with
this shit!)

El Rey reaches up and starts to untie the lacing behind his head. As he does so he remarks … untranslated.

Corazones: I was getting tired of hiding the truth anyway.

Mariposas: ‘Bout Damned Time … Christ!

Grinning, Mari also begins to unlace her own mask. We hear an impromptu chant of “Un-Mask … Un-Mask … Un-Mask …” as a few more … rowdier fans begin
loudly humming porn music “Boom chicka Wow-wow” and shouting to Mari … “Take it All off Baby!!” After a few tence moments the masks come off and we see
that La Reina de los Mariposas is actually a striking Asian beauty and not Latino at all. While Rey seem to be of mixed blood, hard to say exactly what
race he most resembles. He shakes his head and smiles big then tosses his black and silver mask into the audience. Two of his female fans fight for it,
the winner jumping and holding it up like a home run ball at Yankee Stadium.

COREY TAYLOR: Mariposas can continue taking off if she wants to.

Corazones: There ya go Darlin’, cherish it … or sell it on Ebay. I don’t care anymore. This was the last time you guys will see “Jimmie Jamm” James Montrose
in a mask around here.

In response to a few wolf whistles El Rey, er Jimmie, looks down at his “Little Sister” and we see that Mari has not only stripped off her mask but also
most of her costume revealing several large tattoos including some tribal work and a wicked looking oriental dragon spiraling arond her left arm and shoulder.
Rey laughs and shakes his head.

Corazones: You always were a bit of an exhibitionist weren’t you Ai Mei? Heh, But no, Vincent, my leaving Rebel Pro has nothing to do with you. Several
weeks ago I received this letter. My … Our father, Doctor Victor William Montrose, is having some health problems and it seems I am needed to go and
sort through my father’s affairs and see to his business. My mind has been on that and not the squared circle. So for now … and the forseable future.
I find I must leave you all. Best of luck Mr. Black. Same to you too Zeke.

ROB MARTINEZ: Fans, I believe my announce partner is unconscious.

COREY TAYLOR: Shut up Rob, I want to remember this scene perfectly. Do you see the jugs on her?!

James Montrose drops the mic and turns toward the curtains. Just as he is about to exit, Ai Mei picks up the same microphone and looks toward the ring.
Mariposas: And just for the record, Vinnie. Your pittiful little staredown had nothing to do with me not jumping into that ring and kicking your ass the
other night.. My “Little Brother” specifically asked me NOT to interfere. The fact that I had enough self respect to honor James’s request was the only
thing that kept me from painting the canvas with your blood..

Vincent looks up and down Mariposas’ body, appreciating the view very much; he laughs at her words though. James turns around and laughs, then we hear him
faintly say …

Corazones: Come on Wild Chylde. We have a plane to catch. You can come back and play with Mr. Black later.

Tossing the microphone to the ground Mariposas … “Wild Chylde” Ai Mei Montrose, grins and gives Vincent Black the middle finger salute before turning
to leave.

ROB MARTINEZ: What a stunning turn of events here as Corazones reveals who and what they’ve been hiding.

COREY TAYLOR: Rob, I told you to shut up, you are ruining what could very well be the highlight of my life.

Vincent and Cuzin’ Zeke walk out of the ring and to the back to a chorus of boos and hatred.

——————————————————————————–

“Cocky” by Kid Rock blares through the speakers until it is drowned out by the rapid chanting of “The Show” from the crowd.

JENNY JERSEY: From Paducah Kentucky, he stands at six feet three inches and weighs in at two hundred and thirty pounds, he is the man of a million nicknames,
he is “THE SHOW” CHAD KURTIS!

Chad slaps the hands of the fans as he runs down to the ring, he glances at a poster that reads “The Show is gonna kill you!”, he stops to read another
that reads “FTC-For The Chad!”. Chad continues on until he sees another sign that reads “Chad is my baby’s daddy.” Chad points at it and laughs as he walks
on by to slide into the ring.

“Heavy Metal Machine” blares to life as the crowd’s cheers immediately turn to boos in the Grady Cole Center as from the back comes the most hated man in
Rebel Pro, Mikey Massacre.

JENNY JERSEY: From Albuquerque New Mexico, he stands at six feet even and weighs in at two hundred and thrity-five… I mean two hundred and fifty pounds
with the weight of HIS! World title… MIKEY MASSACRE!

Mikey walks down to the ring stopping to read a sign that says “We not likey Mikey”, he laughs at it and points to his head. Another poster reads, “Mikey
Sucks!” Mikey mouths something about this crowd being so intelligent. He comes to a third sign that reads, “F*bleep*k That Coward!” Mikey rips this sign
away from the fan tearing it into shreds before stomping on the pieces. Mikey then turns to step into the ring. Removing his belt, he hands it to Referee
Jimmy Johnson before showing Chad that the belt is staying with him.

DING DING

ROB MARTINEZ: Perhaps one of the most anticipated matches in a long time here in Rebel Pro.

COREY TAYLOR: Mikey has beaten Chad Kurtis every time they’ve faced in singles action.

ROB MARTINEZ: But the only two Rebel Triple Crown winners facing off, with the biggest prize in Rebel Pro on the line.

Mikey and Chad circle each other in the center of the ring, neither wanting to make the first move and leave a possible opening for the other to exploit.
They both decide to start similtaneously, Mikey throws a right fist into Chad’s face, but Chad manages to catch the wrist and deliver a swift kick to Mikey’s
back. Massacre stumbles forward, but Chad pulls on the wrist causing Mikey to come back into a short arm clothesline that sends him down to the canvas.
Chad with an elbow drop, Mikey rolls out of the way and is up to his feet quickly. Chad is up as well, they charge at each other. Mikey ducks under another
clothesline attempt, he puts on the brakes turns around, dropkick sends Chad outside of the ring on his face.

ROB MARTINEZ: It didn’t take long for this match to make it outside the ring.

COREY TAYLOR: Mikey is at home outside of the ring.

Chad is getting up to his feet when Mikey comes diving over the top rope with a plancha taking Chad back down to the concrete that makes up the floor here
in the Grady Cole Center. Mikey quickly rolls off Chad, bringing “The Show” up to his feet where he delivers a stiff series of punches to Chad’s red face.
Chad has a dazed look on his face as Mikey plants right hand after right hand into his cheek causing his head to rock back on his neck. Mikey goes for
a swinging neckbreaker for it to be countered into a neckbreaker from Chad. Both men go down, but Chad is the first to stir as the crowd is getting behind
“The Show” with chants of his preferred nickname. Chad holds onto the announce table as he pulls himself up vertically, he turns around delivering a hard
stomp onto Mikey’s skull before rolling the World Champion back into… no wait! Mikey with an elbow into Chad’s midsection halts him from rolling him
into the squared circle. Chad pounds back with a forearm to Mikey’s back, but to no avail as Mikey delivers another elbow breaking Chad’s grip on his neck.
Mikey shoves Chad back into the announcer’s table, he dives forward with a clothesline that lays Chad out on the flimsy surface.

ROB MARTINEZ: This doesn’t look good for us.

COREY TAYLOR: It really doesn’t look good for Chad Kurtis.

Mikey looks up to the top of the nearest ringpost before slapping his elbow pad, he steps up on the apron beginning his ascent to the top. Mikey turns around,
but Chad has managed to roll off of the table, Mikey leaps driving a knee into the concrete as Chad manages to move out of the way again, the crowd explodes
with cheers. Massacre is rolling around holding at his right knee as he grunts in pain, meanwhile Chad has pulled himself up once again. Chad has Mikey
by the hair dragging him over to the ring, elbow from Mikey, another elbow, elbow from Mikey breaks the hold one more time. Chad is holding at his abdomen
in pain as Mikey rubs at his knee trying to relieve the large amount of pain. Mikey with a DDT sends Chad down forehead first on the concrete and it allows
Mikey to take a small breather from trying to keep Chad Kurtis down, the resilient SOB that he is. Mikey flips up the apron cloth revealing the underneath
section of the ring and proceeds to pull out the stack of tables there. Mikey is laughing as he sets up a table next to the ring, flush against the ring
apron. Meanwhile on the other side of the ring, Chad Kurtis is doing the same with a table there, these two seem to want to cause some major damage to
the other.

COREY TAYLOR: Here comes the lumber.

ROB MARTINEZ: Mikey is doing it to put away Chad Kurtis. Chad is doing it to please the fans and put away Mikey Massacre.

Now all four sides of the ring are braced by tables, except for one side which has a stack of three tables there to stand tall above the top ring rope,
Mikey is proud of his creation, Chad nods at the accomplishment, both men roll inside the ring; Mikey has a steel chair in his hand. He runs at Chad, but
Kurtis ducks under the chair shot, back kick to Mikey sends him into the ropes. Massacre returns but a quick dropkick sends him through the ropes and onto
a table there. Chad hits the ropes, diving over the top with a beautifulflip into a seated position driving Mikey through the table and sending splinters
flying everywhere. Chad pulls a big splinter from the back of his trunks as he rolls the sawdust covered Mikey back into the ring and the watchful eyes
of referee Jimmy Johnson. Chad climbs to the top turnbuckle diving with a well placed leg drop that connects, Chad hooks the leg for a cover but only gets
two as Mikey shoves a shoulder up into the air. Chad rolls up knowing that Mikey is going to be a hard person to defeat and places the steel chair in between
the top and middle turnbuckle. Chad lifts Mikey up, connecting with an atomic drop, as Mikey is holding at his back, Chad dives with a bulldog that slams
Mikey’s head into the steel chair busting the World Champion open with a huge gash on his forehead. Chad slides out on the table before jumping to the
top rope flipping over with a 360 degrees front flip into a leg drop. Chad pulls Mikey into the center of the ring and hooks the leg.

One…

Two…

Thre–NO! Mikey is able to kick out, much to the amazement of the crowd, but none more than “The Show” who looks stunned, but resigned to add more punishment.
ROB MARTINEZ: So close for Chad Kurtis there.

COREY TAYLOR: Mikey knows exactly what he is doing.

Chad pulls Mikey up to his feet, planting a right hand into Mikey’s jaw, but Massacre with a thumb to Chad’s eyes gets him some time. Mikey with a face
rake gets the momentum to shift his way for a change of pace. Mikey with a forearm to Chad’s face bounces him into and off of the ropes. Chad is running
blind into the other ropes, Mikey charges in. Chad with a lifted knee, but Mikey is able to telegraph the move turning it into a spinebuster that would
make Arn Anderson proud. Mikey is quick though as he pulls Mikey up for his famous stalling vertical suplex. He holds Chad there allowing the blood to
rush to “The Show’s” head as he gives the fans the middle… no wait! Chad shifts his weight bringing himself down in falling position that slams Mikey’s
head into the forgotten steel chair! The crowd is loving this type of action.

ROB MARTINEZ: Great counter by The Show there.

COREY TAYLOR: Do you ever shut up Rob? I mean ever?

The crowd is chanting for The Show as both men are unmoving in the center of the ring, if it weren’t for their chests rising and falling one might think
they were dead. Chad is the first to stir as he rolls over to drape an arm across Mikey’s chest.

One…

Two…

Thr–NO! The crowd gasps as Mikey is able to kick out for another time here in this match. Mikey is covered in blood as Chad grits his teeth and pulls him
up to a vertical base. Chad with a scoop and a slam onto the steel chair as he climbs to the top turnbuckle once again, he flips with the BME! He nails
it as Mikey is unable to move, but Chad knows this isn’t enough as he pulls Mikey up again, but Massacre is in a bent over position, Chad is setting him
up for the CK Finale. Mikey with a low blow, in fact a double fisted low blow to “The Show’s” “You Knows.” Chad turns green as the men in the crowd groan
and reflexively hold at themselves in that one certain area. Mikey with a thumb to Chad’s eyes again, just for the purpose of causing Chad’s hands to move.
When the protective hands move, Mikey delivers a punt kick that would make Jeff Feagle of the New York Giants proud.

COREY TAYLOR: He just got punted in the nuts.

ROB MARTINEZ: Don’t you have any compassion?

COREY TAYLOR: Nope, it is funny as hell to me.

Mikey rolls Chad out onto one of the reamining unbroken tables before placing the dented steel chair right directly on his face. Mikey climbs to the top
turnbuckle, diving with a Macho Man style elbow driving it right onto the steel chair sending them both through the wooden table, but Mikey cares little
about his body. Chad caught every single bit of that move and right on his face as well. The women in the crowd gasp at the viciousness of Mikey Massacre
as he pulls the chair off of the now bloody face of Chad Kurtis. Mikey is smiling at his handywork as he rolls Chad back into the ring quickly following
after his prey, the crowd has grown silent worried about their favorite wrestler. Mikey flicks them the bird and the silent crowd immediately begins to
boo him. Mikey knees Chad in the face as he places his cupped hand to his ear trying to make out what the crowd is doing as he smirks at them.

ROB MARTINEZ: Mikey doesn’t care that the crowd is booing him.

COREY TAYLOR: Why should he? He is the Heavyweight Champion.

Mikey sits on Chad’s back applying achinlock, but Mikey’s hands are locked around the forehead of Chad Kurtis; who is screaming out in pain. Referee Jimmy
Johnson is there in the face of Chad Kurtis asking if he wants to quit, but Chad refuses to submit; Mikey has his fingernails in the cut in Chad’s forehead.
Mikey is trying to pull the flesh right off of Chad’s skull! Kurtis crawls as fast as he can for the ropes, but that is no good as Mikey doesn’t let him
move fast. Using his bleeding forehead to his advantage, Chad slams his head down causing Mikey’s hands to slip in the blood, Chad quickly rolls over kneeing
Mikey in the groin to buy him some much needed recovery time. Chad is there breathing hard as the crowd is trying to get him back into the match, trying
to get him to work over Mikey, trying to get him just up to confirm that he is ok. Mikey is already beginning to pull himself up with the help of the ropes,
Chad is still barely breathing in the center of the ring. Mikey is over, he pulls Chad up, Chad with a punch to Mikey’s midsection, a second, and a elbow
to finish off the combo. Mikey is doubled over breathing hard and trying to stop this offense from “The Show.” Chad shoves Mikey back into the corner,
his back slams into the turnbuckle. Chad rushes over, Mikey lowers his head sending Chad up and over. Chad twists in mid-air to land on the apron, Mikey
climbs up the top turnbuckle. Chad climbs as well both meet at the top.

COREY TAYLOR: This can’t be good, they are right beside that triple stack of tables.

ROB MARTINEZ: They are exchanging right hands like they just started this match.

Mikey shoves Chad, but “The Show” manages to catch Mikey by the hair pulling him into a DDT looking move. They both flip and…

*WHAM!!!*

The tables explode sending fragments of table into the crowd from the violence of the impact.

ROB MARTINEZ: OH MY..

COREY TAYLOR: I agree.

ROB MARTINEZ: I think… I think…

COREY TAYLOR: Are they still alive?

Mikey and Chad crashed through all three tables to land on the hard concrete, the big pieces have falen on top of them. Jimmy Johnson leaps out of the ring
to dig through the biggest pieces of the table fragments as he tries to get down to where Chad and Mikey are laying. Jimmy holds up two fingers and hurriedly
urges the paramedics to come down to ringside. The crowd is hushed as two stretches and four paramedics rush down to the ring. Both sets of medics place
their charges on the stretchers following it by placing neckbraces on both men.

ROB MARTINEZ: Both men gave it their all here tonight, it may have been too much.

COREY TAYLOR: Does this still mean Mikey is the Heavyweight Champion?

The four paramedics rush their two charges backstage as the crowd is still silent. Jenny Jersey stands up, bringing the microphone to her lips as Jimmy
Johnson rushes backstage as well.

JENNY JERSEY: Referee Jimmy Johnson has declared this match a no contest due to neither man being able to continue.

The crowd is silent, they aren’t even eating popcorn.

JENNY JERSEY: We will inform you of their condition on the website, so check in often.

ROB MARTINEZ: I can’t believe the lengths those two would go to.

COREY TAYLOR: It is for the title after all.

ROB MARTINEZ: Ladies and gentlemen, we will be right back after this brief intermission.

——————————————————————————–

JENNY JERSEY: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is set for one fall and is the finals of the 2009 Best of the Best tournament as well as your main
event for the Rebel Pro World Tag Team championship…

“Hee hee hee hee”

The crowd explodes as The Freak and Shut Down walk from the back bringing some t-shirts to the crowd. There is no T-shirt cannon, who needs one when you
got two big cannons like that are on Shut Down?

JENNY JERSEY: From Anywhere and Everywhere, they are the Midway Maineventers, THE FREAK and SHUTDOWN… THE FREAK SHOW!

The shirts have “From the Ashes” on the front and on the back is Shut Down and The Freak holding dustbusters with the Phoenix’s head sticking out of one
and Scottie Snow’s head sticking out of the other one, no ashes are on the ground now. The Freak Show climb into the ring after the last shirt is thrown
to the crowd.

Europe’s “Final Countdown” blares as from the back to tremendous boos and jeers comes Scottie Snow and The Phoenix carring the Rebel Pro Tag Team belts.
Scottie holds his belt high into the air as The Phoenix slaps the gold on his shoulder.

JENNY JERSEY: Introducing the Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions at a total combined weight of four hundred and forty-five pounds, they are representing the Pioneer
Wrestling Association… THE PHOENIX and SCOTTIE SNOW!

The Phoenix and Scottie make their way down and finally into the ring where they hand over their tag team belts.

DING DING

ROB MARTINEZ: Here we go with the finals in the Best of the Best tournament.

COREY TAYLOR: And the winners are The Phoenix and Scottie Snow.

ROB MARTINEZ: But the match just started.

COREY TAYLOR: I’m declaring my allegiance.

The Freak locks up with Snow in the center of the ring, Freak with a wristlock into a hammerlock. Scottie drops down to one knee flipping Freak over onto
the mat; Freak kips up to his feet, hitting the ropes. Scottie ducks down as Freak comes with a spinning kick to trip The Freak up and send him down to
the canvas. Scottie runs to the ropes, with a springboard backflip he lands on canvas as Freak rolls out of the way. Scottie runs delivering a forearm
to the rising Freak sending him into a neutral corner. Scottie with a series of well placed toe kicks takes the breath right out of Freak. Scottie whips
him across the ring, Freak reverses sending Scottie into the corner. Snow slams chest first into the corner, Freak runs leaping over Scottie to bring him
down throat first on the rope; Scottie falls back into the ring holding at his throat. Here comes Phoenix to drag Scottie over to his corner and protect
him, but Shut Down has entered the ring to slam a big boot into Phoenix’s skull sending him down to the canvas. Freak slides back into the ring carrying
a steel chair, he slams it on the back of the bent over Phoenix driving him down to one knee. Scottie Snow with a sweep takes Freak down to the canvas
where he lands face first on the chair he brought into the ring. Scottie grabs the chair quickly as Shut Down lumbers towards him with malicious intent
on his face. Scottie slams the chair into Shut Down’s knees stopping the big man from delivering the killing blow to his fragile body. Scottie with another
shot to the big man’s knees, and a third stumbles him backwards in the ring. Scottie is up quickly diving with a chair shot, but Freak catches him preventing
the blow.

ROB MARTINEZ: I can’t believe Scottie Snow is using a steel chair.

COREY TAYLOR: Well, he finally grew a set.

Scottie turns around right into a fist from Freak which sends Scottie back into the full nelson grasp of Shut Down. Shut Down lifts him up, spins, and plants
him into the mat with a big time full nelson slam. Phoenix slams a double fist into Freak’s jewels doubling him over in pain. Phoenix quickly to the middle
turnbuckle with a diving bulldog takes Freak down to the canvas, but Phoenix is up quickly knowing that Shut Down will be back any moment. Shut Down reaches
with a big time haymaker, but Phoenix ducks under delivering a dropkick to the right knee that Scottie was working on earlier. Shut Down falls to the mat
on his right knee doing his best to protect the offending body part. Phoenix levels Shut Down with a swinging steel chair shot and he leaps up to the top
turnbuckle. Freak is up hitting the ropes causing Phoenix to crotch himself on the turnbuckle bolt, he groans as do the men in the audience tonight. Phoenix
falls forward and his throat is across Freak’s shouldrs in a three quarter facelock. Freak dives forward with a diamond cutter causing Phoenix to flop
around on the canvas.

ROB MARTINEZ: Oh My God!

COREY TAYLOR: Vicious.

Freak rolls Phoenix for the pin and referee Alan Stone is in position for the count, but Scottie Snow pulls Freak off of his tag team partner delivering
a right handed slap to The Freak. Scottie with a haymaker that sends Freak stumbling back over the prone Phoenix who rolls Freak up with a pinning attempt,
Stone is still in position and drops to his front.

One…

Two…

Shut Down drops a elbow on Phoenix’s neck breaking up the pin attempt. He turns to find Snow diving from the top turnbuckle with a body splash, but Shut
Down catches him, turns, and plants him on the canvas with a ring shaking body slam. Snow bounces up from the impact, holding at his lower back in tremendous
pain. Shut Down laughs as he pulls Phoenix up to his feet, still towering over the current Rebel Pro Tag Team Champion. Shut Down tosses Phoenix into the
corner following it up with a clothesline then a boot to Phoenix’s face. Freak hits the ropes slamming his feet into Snow’s skull with a baseball slide
dropkick that sends him outside of the ring, Freak follows after. Shut Down places a boot on Phoenix’s throat and begins to choke the masked superstar
out on the top turnbuckle, his size coming into play here in this match up from round number one.

ROB MARTINEZ: Freak Show dominating here.

COREY TAYLOR: For the moment Rob, only for the moment.

Freak picks Snow up with a body slam onto the announce table.

ROB MARTINEZ: And the action is right in our laps.

COREY TAYLOR: Hence why I am moving here.

Freak digs up under the announcer’s table bringing out the cables and cords, he loops them into a whip and begins to flail poor Scottie Snow until red whelps
appear on his skin. Freak drops the cords and proceeds to dig under the ring, he pulls out a ladder. Setting up the ladder, he clibs the fifteen feet to
the top of the item, he perches on top. Placing his arms to the side…

COREY TAYLOR: Yup, I’m moving now.

ROB MARTINEZ: I’m getting out of here too.

Freak leaps with a three hundred and sixty degrees flip, but slams into nothing but table as Scottie was pulled out of the way by The Phoenix at the last
second. Table fragments fly in every single direction, some pieces landing six rows back from the impact of the big move, Freak looks to be hurt, but Phoenix
picks him up anyways. Scottie crawls to the ring where he digs up under the apron to pull out a set of handcuffs that someone had placed there earlier,
he hands them to Phoenix who takes them smiling the entire time. Phoenix rolls Freak into the ring and motions for Scottie to bring another couple of chairs
into the squared circle, Scottie obliges. Shut Down is on his face in the middle of the ring, a pool of blood surrounding his head and a pair of brass
knuckles beside his right cheek, Phoenix quickly puts them in his tights, not wanting Scottie Snow to see them. Phoenix takes the handcuffs, clamping one
set around Shut Down’s big wrist, he drags him over to the ropes where he handcuffs one wrist to the ropes and the second to the other rope, Phoenix laughs
at him taking the big man out of the match. Shut Down appears to still be unconscious as he limply hangs in the corner, but here comes Snow with the chairs,
he hands one to Phoenix. The Phoenix motions for Snow to whip Freak into the ropes then swing with his chair; Scottie obliges again. Freak in the ropes,
double swinging chair shot misses!

ROB MARTINEZ: And I think we are b….(static)

Freak bounces off the opposite ropes, flying cross body takes the current tag team champions down on the canvas, but Freak is down too. Shut Down seems
to be stirring in the corner, but he is handicuffed there, unable to contribute anything to the match. Freak crawls to the nearest ropes to begin to pull
himself up and fight back or to try and free his tag team partner Shut Down. Freak is up, Scottie Snow is shakily up as well, and so is Phoenix. Snow charges,
Freak ducks under to deliver a swift front kick to Phoenix’s face before spinning around on his planted foot to deliver a roundhouse kick to the temple
of Scottie Snow taking him down. Phoenix charges back, but Freak hip tosses him up and over the top rope to the outside and the concrete floor below. Freak
falls forward, but doesn’t fall to the canvas, he lands on the ropes near Shut Down. The big man is furious at his predicament and Freak slides out of
the ring to dig under it for something to hopefully free his partner, he pulls back out with a set of bolt cutters before sliding back into the ring. Freak
shows them to Shut Down who smiles through his blood mask and nods his approval, Freak cuts first the left wrist then as he is going for the right wrist,
Snow with a steel chair shot to the back of his skull. Freak drops the bolt cutters at Shut Down’s feet, but Snow is grasped by the back of his neck and
shoved forward into the center of the ring. Shut Down quickly picks up the bolt cutters and frees himself to lift Snow up into the air in a double handed
choke lift. He goes to slam him down to the canvas, but Phoenix with a brass knuckled assisted nut shot causes Shut Down to fall backwards, Snow landing
on his chest in a seated position.

One…

Phoenix rolls Freak out of the ring.

Two…

Three.

The crowd begin to disperse as The Phoenix and Scottie Snow walk out of the ring. The Freak and Shut Down stand side by side looking at the retreating backs
of the Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions, they can’t believe it, they gave a good shot, it was neck and neck, but in the end it just wasn’t enough. All of a
suddenly the remaining people in the crowd begin to chant causing Freak and Shut Down’s heads to swivel to look at the crowd.
