September Match of the Month
The Freak Show vs FTC -Underground “Prove Your Worth”

The crowd boos heavily as the combination of Cuzin’ Zeke and Mikey Massacre’s entrances hits the speakers and the Carolinas and World Champion come from the back, their belts around their waists.

JENNY JERSEY: At a total combined weight of four hundred and ninety-eight pounds, they are your Carolinas and World Champion respectively, CUZIN’ ZEKE and MIKEY MASSACRE…. FTC!

Mikey and Zeke walk down to the ring, but here comes The Freak and Shut Down to the party. Freak with a steel chair slams it into Mikey’s skull sending him down to the floor. Zeke swings a big right handed haymaker, but Shut Down with a big boot to his gut doubles him over. Shut Down nails the Carolinas Champion with a big right sending him backwards to the railing as the crowd is exploding with cheers.

COREY TAYLOR: Couldn’t these two idiots wait for the match to start?

ROB MARTINEZ: They brought the fight to FTC.

Mikey stumbles up to his feet, Freak with another steel chair shot, Mikey falls to his knees, but low blows Freak right in the crotch with a double fist. Freak drops the steel chair to hold himself. Mikey with a clothesline sends him down on his back. Shut Down swings with a big right, but Zeke ducks under the blow delivering a series of jabs to Shut Down’s ribs and stomach. Shut Down holds at his midsection as Zeke nails him with his trusty horseshoe and Shut Down hits the floor. Mikey lifts Freak up to slam his face into the railing, once twice and a third time. Freak is on woozy street, but manages a right hand to surprise Mikey who is still wearing his belt. Mikey falls back towards the ring. Freak dives forward with a flying right hand sending Mikey to the floor on his rear, Mikey pleads for his assailant to hold on for a minute. Freak is hearing none of this as Zeke and Shut Down come past these two with all four fists flying in rapid fire succession. Zeke connects with a right, Shut Down connects with a right of his own. Shut Down with a left, Zeke with a left, these two big men are pounding away on each other, neither gaining an advantage.

ROB MARTINEZ: This match still has yet to make it inside the ring.

COREY TAYLOR: Look at Zeke kick Shut Down’s A*bleep*.

Freak with a boot to Mikey’s face sends the Heavyweight Champion down to the floor, Freak mounts him with fists flying showing his ground and pound technique. Freak with a right hand to Mikey’s temple, another, and a sharp elbow to the same exact spot again. Mikey rolls Freak over against the railing, using an electrical cord to wrap it around Freak’s throat trying to choke him. Mikey is showing his choke technique from his favorite move set. Freak is struggling against this tactic when Shut Down stomps on Mikey’s face. Zeke is bent over at the waist, red faced and sweaty already in this match. Shut Down charges at Zeke, but Zeke with a capture and spinebuster on the concrete sends him down hard and hurt. Shut Down raises up to place a hand on his lower back. Zeke picks up the steps and drops them on Shut Down’s head, they clatter off his forehead and he is busted open. The crowd is booing the actions of FTC so far in this match. Freak pulls himself up to a vertical base, slamming a boot into Mikey’s head. Freak rolls the World Champion onto the apron and forcefully removes the World Title from his waist and Mikey is in the ring.

DING DING

Newly appointed Senior Referee Alan Stone calls for the bell as Freak hits the ropes with a lionsault onto Mikey, but Massacre able to lift the double knee into Freak’s midsection. Zeke pulls Shut Down up to a vertical base, slamming a fist into his face before rolling him into the ring as well. Zeke climbs onto the apron as well. Mikey rolls over to pull Shut Down up to a kneeling position and grind his knuckles into his forehead wound, ripping the tear further. Shut Down with a fist drives the wind out of Massacre’s sails, but a big boot to the side of his head halts Shut Down’s progress. Shut Down hits the canvas and struggles back to his feet as Freak has rolled out of the ring. Freak is on the outside setting up a table next to the ring apron, and is pulling some other weapons from under the ring. Shut Down is trapped in the corner where Mikey and Zeke are pummeling him with fists and kicks to his body. But here comes Freak to the rescue with a fire extinguisher. He nails Mikey’s skull with the hard part of the fire fighting tool, Mikey drops to the mat. Zeke turns around and is sprayed in the face with the contents of the extinguisher. Shut Down looks up to Freak, a smile on his face. Freak places the nozzle between his legs and steps over Mikey’s face and acts like he is pissing on him as he sprays Mikey in the face with the contents. The crowd laughs and cheers, they absolutely hate Mikey and what he stands for. Here comes Vincent Black and the cheers turn to boos as he pulls Mikey out of the ring. Shut Down goes for Zeke, but Black pulls him out as well. Black looks up at the two men inside the ring and shakes his head in their direction. Mikey is blinded by the fire extinguisher and nails Black with a big right hand, Vincent tries to protect himself, but Mikey continues nailing him with rights and lefts, Black stumbles into Zeke who turns around nailing Vincent with a right hand as well. Black falls to the floor and Mikey’s next right connects with Zeke’s jaw sending him backwards. Mikey follows the sound of Zeke’s breathing and now FTC is fighting each other. Zeke with a big right, Mikey with a big right, Freak and Shut Down just watch. Freak hits the ropes as Mikey and Zeke lock up, Shut Down catches his buddy, heaving him high into the air, over the top rope. Freak lands on all three members of FTC, taking them out. Freak pops up, playing to the crowd with his arms spread. He points to the ring, encouraging Shut Down to do a bit of high flying as well.

ROB MARTINEZ: What is going on with FTC here?

COREY TAYLOR: They are blinded and have no idea who they were fighting.

Shut Down acts like he doesn’t want to fly, but the crowd and Freak get him to finally nod his head. Shut Down hits the ropes, he propells himself over slamming onto all three members with the biggest body splash Rebel Pro has ever seen!

COREY TAYLOR: Holy shit!

ROB MARTINEZ: We don’t agree often, but… dido.

Freak pulls Shut Down up and the two high five each other when the crowd boos again, here comes Bubba J down to the mix, he is wielding a steel chair, he comes flying around the side of the ring. Shut Down and Freak get ready for battle, but smile as here comes Rex Caliber to the fray. Bubba J turns swinging the steel chair, Rex blocks it with a steel chair of his own. Freak with a quick low blow on Bubba J stops his fight with Rex short. Rex nails the Ragin’ Redneck with the steel, but the blow seens to clear Bubba J’s mind. He gets back up, Rex with another shot, Bubba J simply shakes his head, clearing the cob webs. Rex with another shot and Bubba J is busted open from the steel. Bubba J with a boot, but Shut Down kicks him in the back sending him into Rex who grabs him in a quick belly to belly suplex sending him crashing through the railing. The flimsy protection falls under Bubba J’s weight. Rex grabs Bubba J by the waistband of his pants and proceeds to drag him out of the building. Vincent Black is up, he chases after Rex, limping slightly on his knee, he intends to help out his friend. Zeke with the dented steel chair slams it into Freak’s skull sending the small man into the crowd. Shut Down turns around Mikey slams the top of a ladder into his gut. Shut Down bends over at the waist, Mikey slams the ladder onto his back sending him to one knee. Mikey holds the bottom of the ladder in a wheelbarrow position, swinging it around to slam into Shut Down’s skull. Mikey sets up the ladder, he climbs to the top, he perches there as Zeke lifts Freak onto his shoulders in a powerbomb position. Zeke powerbombs Freak as Mikey leaps with a leg drop onto Freak’s throat, he connects and it looks like Freak Show are eliminated from this tournament. Zeke rolls Freak into the ring and Mikey climbs to the top turnbuckle, he dives forward with a Mick Foley type elbow drop, landing perfectly on Freak, he hooks the leg.

One… Two…

Shut Down pulls Mikey off of Freak, keeping their chances to stay in this tournament alive. Reaching in quickly, Shut Down grabs the fire extinguisher as well, he holds the nozzle as he smiles, the blood dripping down his forehead. Freak leans on his partner, to steady himself. Shut Down sprays the stuff into the ring, but Zeke manages to close his eyes just in time and here comes Freak Show rolling into the ring. Mikey stomps down on Freak, Zeke pounds a forearm into Shut Down. Shut Down fights up to a vertical base with a few well placed punches to Zeke’s inner thighs, as Freak takes down Mikey with a single leg takedown. Shut Down whips Zeke into the ropes, he rebounds, Shut Down with a back body and Zeke goes through the table! The fragments fly everywhere as Zeke slams through the table. Shut Down looks over the top rope down to his opponent, he smiles and dulks (Shut Down’s version of “Hulking” up) for the crowd who love it. Freak hollers over to Shut Down, who is eyeing a pretty lady at ringside, before coming over. Freak motions for Shut Down to put Mikey up on his shoulders, Shut Down obliges as Freak climbs to the top turnbuckle. Freak dives off the top rope with a hurricanrana holding it for a pin after he lands.

One… Two… Three.

ROB MARTINEZ: Big Top Insanity!

DING! DING! DING!

JENNY JERSEY: Winners of the match and advancing to the finals of the Best of the Best Tournament, the team of The Freak and Shut Down… The Freak Show!

The crowd are on their feet as Insane Clown Posse’s “Oddities” blares up for the first time tonight. Freak and Shut Down climb out of the ring, heading over to the announce table where Rob Martinez hands them their box they had placed their earlier in the day. The Freak Show begin passing out Muppet Babies that resemble FTC’s Zeke, Massacre, and Black almost identically. The Muppets have been… modified with some arms being removed, some eyes blackened, and well… other Freak Showish things have been done to Miss Piggy that shouldn’t be mentioned.

October Match of the Month
Matthew Kurtis vs Duncan Aries-Hardcore Halloween

ROB MARTINEZ: Despite the problems I am having with my partner here, we must move on to the next match. I will do my best to call it by myself.
COREY TAYLOR: And what am I here for, just something pretty to look at?
ROB MARTINEZ: The next match pits a rising Duncan Aries against a new Matthew Kurtis.
COREY TAYLOR: He looks the same to me.

JENNY JERSEY: The following match is set for one fall with a thirty minute time limit, with the winner receiving a spot in the HARDCORE TOURNAMENT when
REBEL Pro presents “Misgivings” in two weeks!
A Perfect Circle blasts from the PA. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, mostly cheers, as Duncan Aries makes his way through the curtain. Eyes hidden behind
shades, Aries looks collected and confident…
JENNY JERSEY: Introducing first, weighing in at two-hundred and thirty-eight pounds… from San Diego California, he is “THE SPADE” DUNCAN ARIES!
Aries hits the ring, ready to go. He takes his shades off and slaps his kickpads, jogging on the spot…
DELICIOUS MEAT LOAF! “The Monster’s Loose” brings out Matthew Kurtis to a rousing ovation. The Southern fans always love their own (unless given a reason
not to, like that jerk Cuzin Zeke). Kurtis only has eyes for Aries as he takes long strides towards the ring.
JENNY JERSEY: And his opponent! Weighing three-hundred and twenty pounds… from Wickliffe, Kentucky, this is “THE BLUEGRASS BADASS” MATTHEW KURTIS!
The huge Kurtis steps over the top rope. Kurtis removes his leather duster and adjusts his wrist tape.
ROB MARTINEZ: This will the be the first ever meeting between Matthew Kurtis and Duncan Aries, but before these two even set foot in the ring it’s become
personal, Taylor. Aries of course coming off a dominating win against Marxx at our last even; the confident “Spade” made some pointed comments over the
past two weeks about Matt Kurtis’ lack of success in REBEL Pro, even going so far as to saying Matt’s career was ‘in the gutter.’
COREY TAYLOR: Martinez, is that really up for debate? I’m not a fan of “The Show,” but fact is that while CHAD Kurtis has won every title REBEL Pro has
to offer, multiple times, over the past two and a half years Matthew Kurtis, one of the original REBEL wrestlers, has exactly… zero championship reigns.
Hell, he’s only had four title shots in that entire time.
ROB MARTINEZ: Matthew Kurtis’ personal demons have derailed his championship aspirations multiple times, there is no doubt about it. It seems that every
time “The Bluegrass Badass” starts picking up wins, something ‘happens’ and all his momentum comes crashing down. I think Aries feels insulted by Matt’s
inability to overcome the big one, frankly.
COREY TAYLOR: It’s not as though Aries is squeaky clean Martinez, he showed up last fall and couldn’t handle REBEL Pro Wrestling. He needs to prove over
the next couple months that he’s for real.
ROB MARTINEZ: No doubt about it, Corey, but one thing is for certain: Aries’ remarks hit Matthew Kurtis right where he lives. This is going to be intense,
edgy and heated…
Referee Jimmy Johnson has checked both wrestlers. He bids them to wait in their corners, and then…
CALLS FOR THE BELL!
DING DING DING!
Duncan Aries and Matthew Kurtis meet in the center of the ring, the six-eleven Kurtis with a notable size advantage over the six-three Aries. Aries doesn’t
appear intimidated by the big Kurtis. The staredown continues, then the two men tie-up! Kurtis easily overpowers Aries and shoves him to the canvas. Aries
gets up to one knee, assessing the turn of events with a nod.
ROB MARTINEZ: “The Spade” well aware he can’t hope to match power with Matthew Kurtis; he’s one of the biggest men on the REBEL roster!
COREY TAYLOR: But it’s been proven in the past that size doesn’t matter, Martinez — not in Matt Kurtis’ case!
ROB MARTINEZ: I’ll leave that one well alone.
Another tie-up, no, Aries ducks underneath and lashes out with a high kick right to Matt’s chest! It connects with a *THUD*. Aries quickly attacking with
martial arts strikes, nailing another one. Matt swings, Aries dodges and this time unleashes a solid kick right to Matt’s thigh.
COREY TAYLOR: That’s it, Aries, go for the damaged leg! Matt Kurtis always wears the brace on that left knee, he might as well paint a target on it!
Matt Kurtis is still standing, though. Aries reaches up to throw a forearm into the side of Matt’s head; he hits the ropes and explodes off with a flying
forearm that rocks Matt, but still can’t put the big man down. Aries with another thigh kick, hits the ropes again, Matt attempts a big boot, Aries ducks
it and rebounds off the opposite side, flies with a crossbody…
And is caught in mid-air! Matt Kurtis has Aries in his grips, delivers a crushing back breaker! He doesn’t release the man, however, raising him up and
delivering another backbreaker. Aries hits the canvas, Matt goes for a cover, only gets one. But now he has control of the smaller man and starts throwing
right hands into Kurtis, cornering him. Johnson wants him to take it out of the corner, but Kurtis knows REBEL rules all too well. He delivers a few big
shots to Aries before finally bringing him out the hard way with a scintillating irish whip! WHAM — The Spade hits the turnbuckles like a shot and then
smashes the canvas from the impact. Kurtis comes in and delivers a leg drop to the back of Aries’ head! Cover, two count only.
ROB MARTINEZ: We’re seeing the story of this match unfold… Aries must use his speed and quickness to stay a step ahead of Kurtis, because if Matt gets
his hands on him, he can do a lot of damage in a short span of time.
COREY TAYLOR: Notice Matt Kurtis going for covers early in this match. Beating up Aries might make him feel a little better for a while, but a WIN is going
to mean a lot more for his career.
ROB MARTINEZ: Too early to expect that three-count but stranger things have happened! Aries expending energy just getting out of those pinning predicaments.
Kurtis cinches on a side headlock, keeping things slowed down. Aries starts throwing elbows to the mid-section, getting enough to escape. A reverse spin
kick to the gut knocks the wind out of Matthew and doubles him over enough for Aries to hit the ropes and deliver a dropkick right to the side of the head!
Matt stumbles, still on his feet, and Aries lets fly another kick. It’s caught by Matt but Aries quickly responds with a twist and a kick from his free
leg, knocking Matt to the ropes. Aries comes off looking for a BIG CROSS BODY THAT SENDS BOTH GUYS TO THE FLOOR!
Aries put his own body on the line there in the name of victory, and now he hits some knees into Matt Kurtis’ face. Irish whip, Matt reverses and sends
The Spade into the guardrail! Aries leaps on top of it, then leaps off — TORNADO DDT TO THE FLOOR! “REBEL REBEL!” Kurtis’ head spiked into the concrete,
Aries took a hard landing himself but clearly is up quicker. He grabs the guardrail and starts stomping on Matt’s leg, working to cut the big man down
to size. The fans are into this match, some chanting “LET’S GO ARIES,” others going “BEE GEE EM! BEE GEE EM!”
Now Aries has the problem of getting the big Matt Kurtis into the ring. He manages to get his man up against the ring apron, but Matt catches him with
a sudden right hand.
COREY TAYLOR: Brawling on the floor with Matthew Kurtis isn’t what I could call sound strategy, Martinez.
ROB MARTINEZ: Aries with the difficult task of forcing three-hundred and twenty pounds of dead weight back into the ring, and if Matthew Kurtis isn’t willing
to go… he isn’t going!
COREY TAYLOR: Kurtis doesn’t seem entirely there, Martinez, that Tornado DDT may have knocked him out momentarily. He looks like he’s on dream street.
Aries connects with a strike of his own but Matt ignores it and nails another big right. He leans back against the ring canvas – he does seem like he’s
having a hard time gathering his wits. Could be a concussion. Aries takes another tack, rolls into the ring… BASEBALL SLIDE to the back of Matt Kurtis’
head! Kurtis stumbles forward, now against the guard rail as Aries goes to the top rope. What’s this? HE FLIES OFF! PLANCHA TO MATT KURTIS! BOTH MEN RIGHT
INTO THE FRONT ROW! “REBEL REBEL!”
Aries gets up, telling fans to move. Matt picks himself up as Aries creates space between the two. He gets a run and leaps for a huracanrana… Matt holds
his balance DIVING POWERBOMB INTO THE CHAIR!
COREY TAYLOR: HAVE A SEAT, ARIES!
ROB MARTINEZ: THIS IS REBEL PRO WRESTLING, FANS!
The crowd is chanting “HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT!” Both men are down, Matt holding his knee – he hit it on the concrete hard performing the powerbomb. Aries
groans in the wreckage of the chair. Referee Jimmy Johnson is out to check on both men, but there’s not much he can. No disqualifications, no count-outs
here in REBEL! Each man is moving, Johnson doesn’t see a need to stop the match.
Matt is up and pulls Aries up by his feet, dragging him to the guard rail. He lifts the man up in a GORILLA PRESS — over the guard rail and to the floor!
Matt steps over the guardrail with his long legs and picks Aries up, bundling him into the ring. He rolls in himself as Aries gets to his feet… and locks
in a bearhug!
The Bluegrass Badass squeezing Aries with all his might, doing even more damage to the man’s back. He leans down, underneath Aries’ arms to get even more
leverage. Aries in pain, head tilted back as grunts of pain escape his lips. He tries to get a shot at Matt, but Kurtis wrenches him and squeezes harder.
Aries leans back, and the pain appears to be overcoming him. The lights fade in Aries eyes and he goes limp in Matt’s arms. Jimmy Johnson gets in and raises
Duncan’s arm once…
It drops.
Matt holding on, sweat pouring down his face through sheer intensity. Johnson lifts the arm a second time, it drops again.
ROB MARTINEZ: This may be it! Duncan Aries appears to be out…
COREY TAYLOR: I can’t believe it, Matt Kurtis may win a big match!
Aries’ arm is lifted a third time…
HE HOLDS IT UP! Aries reaching deep down and trying to find the guts to continue! He’s shaking, the split crowd SO LOUD, Aries claps his arms around Matt’s
ears. Matt holds on, another bell clap! A third! Matt still holding on, Aries with a HEADBUTT. And that one staggers Matt enough for Aries to slip out
— THE ACE OF SPADES! ARIES TRYING TO APPLY THE ACE OF SPADES! He has Matt’s arm and around the head, can he force the man down? NO! BACK SUPLEX BY MATT
KURTIS! He covers…
One, two, kick-out!
Matt shakes his head, trying to get the ringing out of his ears. He limps slightly but has the momentum as Aries tries to get to his feet, using the ropes.
Matt sees his opening! Off the ropes, CLOTHESLINE FROM KENTUCKY — ARIES DUCKS IT! ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Matt stunned! Double thrust to the gut doubles Matt
over and Aries hits the ropes… RUNNING AX KICK! CONNECTS! Matt goes down, Aries rolls him over and hooks the leg!
ONE TWO NO!
Aries rolls with the pinfall, taking Matt back over to his belly and LOCKING ON THE ACE OF SPADES! HE’S GOT IT! Kurtis in the middle of the ring, reaching
out as the crowd alternately chants “TAP TAP TAP / PLEASE DON’T TAP”. Aries reaches back, screaming! Matt reaches out, he’s too far from the ropes. WILL
HE TAP? He makes a fist with his free hand, punches the canvas…
the hand comes up, opening! MATT IS LOOKING TO TAP!
No, he balls the fist up again and tries to fight! Matt lurches to the side, trying to change his position. He can’t make it with his hands…but another
lurch gets one of his long legs close enough to hook under the bottom rope.
COREY TAYLOR: It’s not like Aries has to release the hold, he can’t be disqualified.
ROB MARTINEZ: No, but the referee can refuse to acknowledge any decision made in the ropes! Matt Kurtis isn’t tapping out but Aries is going to have to
release the hold if he wants to win.
Aries squeezes some extra pain out of it before releasing the hold. Matt ends up seated in the corner ARIES WITH A RUNNING BOOT! Right to the face! He
drags Matt out of the corner and covers
ONE TWO KICK OUT!
It’s not over yet. Aries leads Matt to his feet, only to whip him to the ropes. Matt hooks on the top rope to stop his momentum. Aries charges, back dropped
over — no, he lands on his feet on the ring apron! Matt swings, Aries ducks and nails a shoulder thrust through the ropes, then climbs the nearest turnbuckle.
Matt stands up tall and looks for Aries — HURACANRANA OFF THE TOP! Connects! Aries mounts the big man and starts raining down punches. A yell to the
crowd informs them that it’s time for THE CULMINATION. Matt slowly gets to his feet, dazed, and Aries attempts to lift him up.
No good, Matt outweighs him by eighty pounds and Aries back is weakened from the course of the match! Aries has to quit, stepping out with his hand on
his back. He turns around
BLUEGRASS MAFIA KICK! Matt Kurtis explodes out of nowhere! Aries smacks the canvas and an exhausted Matt drops over to cover!
ONE TWO THSHOULDER UP!
ROB MARTINEZ: I don’t know if Duncan Aries could lift Matthew Kurtis on his best day but not tonight with the damaged back! Still, this match continues
even after that sick Bluegrass Mafia Kick! These two putting it all on the line here tonight Corey!
COREY TAYLOR: This is what REBEL is all about, Martinez. These guys are wrestling like it’s their last match, a win would mean so much to either man!
Matt Kurtis gets to his feet. Both men are soaked in sweat and worn down, they’ve beat the hell out of each other. Kurtis signals for it… BLUEGRASS BOMB
comin’ up! He positions Aries and flips him upside down — Aries grabs onto Matt’s head with both arms! What’s this? Right hands! Desperation right here!
Aries manages to get off of Matt’s shoulders and deliver a thudding kick right to the chest of Matt! Another one, another, kick right to the braced knee
of Matt, sending the big man down to one knee. Matt vulnerable, Aries measures him. ROUNDHOUSE KICK RIGHT TO THE HEAD — Matt ducks! Aries off-balance!
GOOZLE! CHOKESLAM — ARIES COUNTERS FOR THE ACE OF SPADES! Matt doesn’t go down however, diving into the ropes, sending Aries onto the apron! Both men
getting up, trading blows, Matt getting the upper-hand of the exchange — until Aries hotshots Matt’s neck off the top rope! Aries goes to the top rope,
leaps off for the huracanrana!
But Kurtis stops the momentum halfway through. With a massive show of power he lifts Aries back up, Aries fighting, Matt grabs the trunks and lifts him
even higher!
BLUEGRASS BOMB!
Kurtis reaches over and grabs a leg as Johnson counts!
ONE TWO THREE!
JENNY JERSEY: Here is your winner… MATTHEW KURTIS!
ROB MARTINEZ: We wondered how Matt Kurtis would respond to the jabs of Duncan Aries; would he respond by proving the man right or with fire? I think we
can say that tonight, the fire didn’t flicker, it is lit and burning strong!
COREY TAYLOR: Yeah yeah Martinez, you enjoy your metaphors. But I’ll give credit is due, Matt Kurtis was a warrior tonight; and so was Duncan Aries. There’s
your match of the night right there.
ROB MARTINEZ: No shame in losing like Aries did here tonight, these two beat the living hell out of one another. Aries proved there’s no quit in him, but
he’s not walking out of here with what he really wanted: a win and a spot in the Hardcore Tournament at “Misgivings!” A huge, huge victory for Matthew
Kurtis — and that’s not hyperbole.

November Match of the Month
Mikey Massacre(C) vs Thomas Young-Misgivings

Fans Bring The Weapons Match
Rebel Pro World Title Match
“Screams of the Undead” die down as “Heavy Metal Machine blares to existence.
JENNY JERSEY: From Albuquercue New Mexico, he stands at six feet even, weighing in tonight at two hundred and thirty-five pounds, he is your Rebel Pro
World Heavyweight Champion… MIKEY MASSACRE!
The music dies down until Mikey steps through the ropes, “I’m A Rebel” hits up as Larry Gordon makes his way through the curtain, microphone in hand. Mikey
looks at the Rebel Pro owner with hatred brewing on his face.
LARRY GORDON: Mikey, I just wanted to let you know, in case that you didn’t get the memo, that tonight’s battle will be for that belt you hold so dear.
Larry turns around not giving Mikey another look.
DING DING
With the bell the match is officially underway and Thomas Young digs into the trashcan full of weapons he brought himself just in case he didn’t like any
of the fans’ weapons. Mikey Massacre on the other hand seems intent on avoiding the use of weapons, especially any brought by the fans, further fuelling
the fans’ hatred of him. Young turns his back to rummage through his arsenal and Massacre seizes the opportunity and jumps on Young and lands several forearms
to the back before whipping him into the opposite turnbuckles. Mikey follows Thomas but Thomas moves out of the way and Massacre crashes into the turnbuckles.
Thomas pulls a Kendo stick out of his trash can and starts to wail on Mikey’s back with it, as the crowd roars their approval. Mikey turns around and gets
cracked on top of the skull with Thomas’ weapon. Thomas quickly goes for the cover but Referee Alan Stone only counts to about one and a half before Mikey
kicks out.
ROB MARTINEZ: Mikey, love him or hate him, is not going to go down that easy.
COREY TAYLOR: But Thomas Young will go down in flames, winning this tournament.
The two wrestlers make it back to their feet but Thomas is taken down by a hiptoss by Mikey. Who follows up with an armbar which draws the ire of the fans
even more. Thomas makes it to his feet but is taken down again by a short-arm clothesline by Mikey who goes right back to the armbar. The crowd starts
to alternate between “let’s go Thomas”, ‘Mikey sucks”, and “Mikey sold out” chants. Young regains his feet with Massacre trying to remain in control and
going from the armbar to a side headlock. Thomas shoots Mikey into the ropes and as Mikey rebounds he catches full in the face with a cookie sheet and
Mikey goes down. Young follows this up by dropping a cookie sheet assisted elbow on Mikey. Thomas then rolls out of the ring and accepts a thumbtack covered
crutch from a fan and rolls back into the ring.
ROB MARTINEZ: Thomas Young is reaching out to the fans in this fans bring the weapons. The fans see this as their opportunity to seek some measure of revenge
against Mikey.
COREY TAYLOR: It’s vicious and all but that crutch is a thing of violent beauty. Excellent use of superglue.
Back in the ring Thomas brings the crutch down across the back of Mikey causing Mikey to drop to his knees. Young pulls the crutch back leaving puncture
wounds and a few thumbtacks down Mikey’s back. Thomas brings the crutch down a total of three more times before a kick to the groin by Mikey brings the
attack to a sudden stop. Mikey picks up the crutch where Thomas had dropped it all battered and bent out of shape. Mikey raises the weapon like he’s going
to bring it down across the back of Thomas but instead throws it away and flips off the crowd. The fans return the feeling of Mikey with a shower of boos.
Mikey waits for Thomas to get to his feet and then nails him with a dropkick. Four more dropkicks on Thomas follow and then Mikey starts dropkicking the
air and flipping off the crowd. Thomas brings this display to a halt with a steel chair upside Mikey’s head that busts the champ open. Thomas follows up
with his first actual wrestling move of the match and hits Mikey with a Roaring Elbow. Thomas comes back with a brutal snap Suplex into the now knocked
on it’s side trash can. Both men lay there momentarily stunned.
ROB MARTINEZ: That last move took something out of both men.
COREY TAYLOR: Yeah that was stupid by Young. Oooh shiny object in the crowd.
ROB MARTINEZ: Um…okay.
Mikey and Thomas reach their feet at the same time and Mikey hits an Everplex out of nowhere and stumbles to the ropes where he wipes some of the blood
from his forehead. As Mikey looks at the blood a change seems to come over him, he starts to slap and punch himself all over. Mikey then picks up a steel
chair and starts to bash Thomas with it over and over and over again. As Thomas struggles to his feet Mikey goes to the crowd in search of weapons but
where the fans volunteered weapons to Young, Mikey has to fight with them for anything he wants. After a moment of struggling, Massacre comes away with
a nasty looking barbed wire covered fluorescent light tube and quickly takes it back into the ring. Thomas has made it to his feet only to be on the receiving
end of a wicked shot from Mikey’s weapon. Young starts to bleed from the forehead but only goes down to a knee. Mikey picks up his discarded and rather
dented chair and lays into Thomas with it. Mikey tosses The first chair away and grabs up a second. Mikey climbs to the top turnbuckle and flips off the
crowd before jumping off with his frog splash variation “the Massacre”. Mikey covers and Referee Stone counts…
One…
Two…
KICKOUT!
As Mikey argues with the ref about the count Thomas claims another weapon from the crowd and slides back into the ring with his barbed wire covered steel
chair. He waits for Mikey to turn around and then…CLANG! Mikey crumples to his knees and Thomas gives him another chairshot for good measure. Thomas follows
up his chair shots with a Running Yazuka Kick as Mikey gets to his feet. Thomas slides out of the ring and brings a table into the ring. Massacre gets
back to his feet as Thomas is setting up the table. Mikey waffles Young with the barbed wire covered chair and throws onto the table and climbs up after
him. Mikey sets Thomas up for a Piledriver through the table but Young fights back and backdrops Mikey off the table. Thomas lands on top of Mikey with
leg drop off the table. Thomas puts the table propped up in the corner and whips Mikey into it and follows him in with a spear that breaks the table in
half and looks to have done the same to Mikey. Thomas pulls Mikey to the middle of the ring and covers him but only gets a two count. Mikey out of desperation
hits Thomas with a delayed Suplex out of nowhere but can’t even make a cover. Thomas Gains his feet first and grabs a kendo stick as does Mikey. The two
of them stand in the middle of the ring and battered each other with the Kendo sticks. Mikey, Thomas, Mikey, Thomas, Mikey, Thomas. Both men exchanging
wicked Kendo shots as they stand toe-to-toe battered and bloody. Finally Thomas ends the stand-off with a kick to Mikey’s crotch and a gut wrench suplex.
Thomas quickly sets up a a chair in the middle of the ring. Mikey slows gets to his feet but a quick kick top the gut puts Mikey into position for an Omega
Driver onto the chair. Thomas covers and Referee Alan Stone counts…
One…
Two…

As Referee Alan Stone takes to take the belt into the ring to give to Thomas Young. Mikey Massacre gets in his way and demands the belt. Stone refuses
to give it to him. Mikey hits Alan Stone with a Everplex and grabs the belt and runs away before Thomas Young can reach him.
ROB MARTINEZ: Larry Gordon isn’t going to be happy with Mikey taking the belt and it not being his.
COREY TAYLOR: But it is his.

December Match of the Month
Scottie Snow & The Phoenix vs Vincent Black & Duncan Aries-MM2009

“Carbomb” hits the speakers as from the back walk the team of Duncan Aries and Vincent Black. The crowd gives a somewhat mixed reaction, not sure how to
take this newly formed team.
JENNY JERSEY: At a total combined weight of five hundred and seventy-nine pounds, the team of DUNCAN ARIES and VINCENT BLACK!
Duncan and Vincent make their way down to the ring, listening to the mixed reaction; Vincent doesn’t seem to mind and Duncan slaps a few hands.
“Final Countdown” hits up and the crowd is still split in their decision as from the back walk the current Rebel Tag Champions, The Phoenix and Scottie
Snow. Phoenix is walking ahead of Snow and stares at the ring, more specifically at Duncan Aries.
JENNY JERSEY: Now introducing their opponents, the Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions, at a total combined weight of four hundred and forty-five pounds, the
team of THE PHOENIX and SCOTTIE SNOW!
DING DING
Scottie Snow and Duncan meet each other in the center of the ring, Duncan begs for Phoenix to tag into the match, but all Phoenix does is look back as
he shakes his head. Ducan rushes over to Phoenix, but Snow with a drop toe hold sends him face first into the canvas.
ROB MARTINEZ: Smart move by Scottie Snow there.
COREY TAYLOR: The Phoenix has taught him well.
Duncan rolls over, kick to the back of Duncan by The Phoenix, here comes Vincent Black into the mix. Right hand from the big man sends Scottie down to
the canvas, Phoenix dodges a swinging right and left combo, but Duncan manages to catch the crafty veteran with a knee into the midsection and flip him
into the ring with a vertical suplex. Duncan releases at the mid point of the suplex as Phoenix lands, Vincent is there with a leg drop across Phoenix’s
throat with a leg hook and a pin.
One…
Scottie Snow dives in for a save as he dropkicks Vincent right in the jaw rolling him off the cover. Duncan pulls Scottie back up to his feet, forearm
to the chin, but Scottie with a quick front thrust to Duncan’s thigh with the toe of his boot stops Aries in his tracks.
COREY TAYLOR: What a low blow! Disqualify them!
ROB MARTINEZ: No low blow and no disqualifications here in Rebel Pro.
Scottie turns, locking in a side headlock. Duncan sends him into the ropes. Rebound into a back body sends Snow onto his back. Vincent pulls Phoenix up
to his feet, gorilla press slam onto Duncan’s knee has Phoenix winded again. Vincent and Duncan slap five before Aries picks Phoenix up whipping him into
the ropes. Rebounding Phoenix into a shoulder tackle from Duncan sends them both outside to the floor. Vincent looks over the top rope as he smiles triumphantly.
He turns, here comes Scottie Snow with a flying leg lariat, it has no effect on the big man. Scottie looks up and gulps as Black laughs at the tiny man.
Scottie rebounds, Vincent catches him with a spinning spinebuster that violently shakes the ring. He holds the legs for a pin.
One…
Two…
ROB MARTINEZ: Scottie managing to kick out there.
COREY TAYLOR: Just barely, but yeah he did.
Scottie is yanked up to his feet, Vincent is ticked off, he power whips Scottie into the corner, charging clothesline. Scottie avoids by ducking out os
the way, standing dropkick to Vincent’s back. Scottie with a rollup.
One…
Vincent kicks out with authority. Duncan whips Phoenix into the ringpost, but Phoenix reverses sending Duncan into the hard steel. Duncan’s head rebounds,
Phoenix with a swinging neckbreaker. Rob digs under the chair to pull out a dual set of steel chairs, he tosses one into the ring before sliding in after
it. Vincent is staring down The Panther. Phoenix with a big chair shot to Vincent’s back causes the big man to turn. *WHAM!* another chair shot, this one
to Vincent’s face backs the man up against the ropes. Scottie pulls down the ropes and the third shot sends Black over the top rope to land on his shoulder
on the outside. Duncan rolls into the ring, picking up the discarded steel chair. He dives in at Phoenix, Scottie Snow with The Snow Plow! Phoenix dives
from the top rope with The Ashes and hooks the leg.
One…
Two…
Vincent pulls Phoenix out of the ring. Massive forearm backs him up against the announce table.
ROB MARTINEZ: I got a feeling this is fixing to be right in our lap.
COREY TAYLOR: Here comes Scottie Snow over the top!
Phoenix sees and drops down to his back as Scottie lands on Vincent with a chair assisted corkscrew plancha. The table disentigrates into a bunch of pieces
as Phoenix pays no attention to Snow and rolls back into the ring. Duncan is getting back up to his feet. Spear from Duncan sends Phoenix to the canvas
where Duncan pummels him with a Lou Thesz press. Phoenix rolls over with a Lou Thesz press of his own and these two are trading punches right and left
here in this match like they are kids on a school playground. Phoenix with a thumb to the eyes, but somehow Duncan manages to block it with a fist into
Phoenix’s chin. Duncan picks Phoenix up, whip into the ropes.
ROB MARTINEZ: The Culmination!
COREY TAYLOR: Damn! It can’t be. Scottie wake up and do your job!
Duncan hooks the leg.
One…
Two…
Three.
DING! DING! DING!
JENNY JERSEY: Winners of the match and NEEEEEEEW Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions, the team of Vincent Black and “The Spade” Duncan Aries!
ROB MARTINEZ: Wow, a fairly quick match, but fast paced throughout the entire thing.
COREY TAYLOR: Big moves, fast action, and a slacker in the form of Scottie Snow.
