Big news coming out Durham following this past weeks Aggression, held at the Aggression Arena.
First off, a huge signing in an individual simply known as Umbra. What he’s bringing to the table remains to be seen,
but management is excited by what they’ve seen from him.
Secondly, Barbed Wire Massacre, the next REBEL Pro Pay Per View begins RPW’s first ever International Tour. In hopes of following up the successful and controversial National Tour of last year, REBEL Pro will be heading trough Canada in May, followed by a tour through Mexico in June before heading to Europe in July. Barbed Wire Massacre kicks off the tour in Montreal, Quebec Canada on May 7th, 2012. Bubba J will be defending the REBEL Pro World Championship then, the question becomes against who?
Rumors are swirling at the possible matches. With what is about to occur this week on Aggression, we could be seeing Jeffrey Drake take on Bubba J in Montreal. However, it is a well known fact Emily Corlen never cashed in her guarunteed title shot, the match at Birthday Bash having been booked without her use of this clause. She could still use it, and force her way into a rematch with Bubba J. When? That’s up to her.
However rumor has it Anna Mathews’ name has been brought up as well.
And talk is, there is
a possibility of a unification match of the World and Aggression Championships at Barbed Wire Massacre. Does this mean the end of the Aggression title? The return of the Carolinas Championship? Or something completely different?
Maybe nothing at all?
Maybe we’re talking out of our ass, who’s to say for certain. But a possible Fatal Four Way between Charms and The Order would likely have the Masters hot and bothered. The connection they have to majority owner Larry Gordon could come into play here, but does this mean we will see either Jaice Wilds or Kvlt Drachen inserted into the match? Or perhaps even Vicious, who is rumored to be either in contract negotiations or has already signed with REBEL Pro.
A power struggle has ensued for control of REBEL Pro, following a legal injunction to block Mr. Gordon from control of the company by Simon Kalis before the horrifying events of Birthday Bash, and what has been famously dubbed “The Red Wedding”.
Bigger aftershocks are yet being felt, as “The Show” Chad Kurtis has made his triumphant return to REBEL Pro and would definitely be looking to get back into the thick of things.
And Justin Case is never far away.
What does this mean? We could be witnessing the emergence of what one analyst dubbed “the biggest cluster fuck World title match since the Kingdom of Death”.
Could we be in for Kingdom of Death II?
Stay tuned, AoWF.
