REBEL Underground 08/23/2008

08/23/2008
The REBEL Underground is sold out with exactly two hundred seats filled in the training facility known during the week as the Steele Dojo. Tonight, it will
host another great night of wrestling, as we have drunken college kids getting turned away at the door. It’s ten o’clock eastern and it’s time for some
hard hitting, bone crushing REBEL action! A Carolina’s title match, a huge Six.. Five Man? tag team elimination match… and for the first time in several
months, KYLE ROBERTS speaks!

——————————————————————————–

JENNY JERSEY: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Houston, Texas, he weighs in at two hundred and twenty seven pounds:
NICK EVERHARDT!

Everhardt glad hands the fans at ringside as he makes his way to the ring. Once in the ring, he keeps a close eye on the ring entrance for his opponent.
JENNY JERSEY: And his opponent! From Villahermosa, Tobasco, Mexico, weighing two hundred and forty five pounds: El Rey de Corazones!

The fans (especially the ladies) pop for the Latin Superstar, who has roses for the lucky ladies at ringside. He gets in to the ring and faces off with
Everhardt. The two men shake hands as referee Alan Stone calls for the bell. They lock up center ring, and El Rey scores a quick headlock takedown. Everhardt
rolls him onto his back for a quick pin, but only gets a one count. El Rey is to his feet first, and scores a dropkick on Everhardt, knocking him back
to the mat. He hits the ropes and goes for a Lionsault, but Everhardt rolls out of the way. El Rey manages to land on his feet, and he rushes towards Everhardt,
who ducks a clothesline, hits the ropes and comes back with a forearm shot, taking El Rey down! Everhardt drops an elbow on his fallen opponent, and goes
for a quick cover, but he only gets a one count. He drags El Rey up and goes for the Hardt-Breaker, but El Rey elbows his way out of the fireman’s carry,
then locks on an arm trap standing leg lock! Everhardt tries to fight out of it, but sees how close he is to the ropes, and decides to save his energy
for later in the match. El Rey releases the hold and waits for Everhardt to get off the ropes. Everhardt goes for a lock up, El Rey shoots behind and goes
for a back suplex, Everhardt floats over and goes for a German Suplex, but it’s El Rey’s turn to float over! He lands on his feet, Everhardt is quick to
turn around and face his opponent, and both men stand ready to attack as the fans applaud the back and forth action. El Rey nods to his opponent. Everhardt
gives a smirk and a nod back to El Rey. The two men then hit the ropes, criss crossing the ring. El Rey goes to the mat, Everhardt jumps over him, hits
the ropes rebounds back into a hurricanrana! El Rey follows up the move with a snap leg drop, then goes for a cover! Everhardt kicks out at two.

El Rey goes for an Argentine Backbreaker rack! Everhardt gets locked into the hold, and looks to have no where to go! Referee Stone asks if he wants to
give up, but Everhardt clearly says “no”. EL Rey moves away from the ropes to remove any chance of a forced break. Everhardt has a free arm, which he uses
to elbow de Corazones in the head. He elbows him a few more times until El Rey is forced to drop him. He staggers a bit, perhaps still feeling the after
effects of the concussion he had in June. Everhardt pounces quickly, hitting Welcome to Houston Mother Fucker! El Rey is in serious pain as he hits the
mat, and Everhardt hooks the leg for a pin! One.. two.. El Rey kicks out! Everhardt looks surprised, but does not argue. He pulls El Rey off the mat and
goes for the Kobashi special, but El Rey gets an elbow to Everhardt’s jaw, ending any hopes of that move hitting! He gets a short arm knee to the gut,
then hooks the arms for Tango Pasado del Amor! Everhardt blocks the move, getting his leg wrapped around El Rey’s! El Rey releases the arms, allowing Everhardt
to get a double leg takedown, and the Texas Cloverleaf 3000… No! El Rey gets a boot to Everhardt’s jaw, knocking him back. El Rey to his feet… Everhardt
with a stiff kick to El Rey’s head, and the luchadore is staggered… Everhardt slides behind and hits the Kobashi Special! El Rey is taken down, but Everhardt
is taking no chances! He hauls El Rey to his feet and sets him on the top rope…

HARDT ATTACK!!

Everhardt hooks the leg for the cover!

JENNY JERSEY: here is your winner: Nick Everhardt!

Everhardt checks to makes sure El Rey is all right. He’s disappointed, but shakes Everhardt’s hand and raises it in victory as the fans applaud both men.
Nick Everhardt is dedicated to getting some singles gold, and this is a very good step, defeating a REBEL veteran like El Rey. El Rey is still having a
tough go of it, and will have to wait another week to get off this losing streak he is on.

JENNY JERSEY: Introducing first, at a combined weight of four hundred ninety pounds… Murcielago and Enzo, NEW YORK’S FINEST!

New York’s finest come down to the ring in a hail of boos, and Enzo’s ready to talk smack right back at them. Drinks and popcorn are tossed at NY’s Finest,
and it doesn’t concern them one bit.

JENNY JERSEY: Introducing their opponents… TOMBSTONE AND IVANOV!

Now, making their Rebel debut, Ivanov ‘n’ Tombstone strut their way down the ring, past a crowd that gives them no reaction whatsoever. They’re not bothered
at all, Tombstone looks a bit satisfied. They enter the ring.

Enzo looks over to Murc, “I got this one, don’t worry.” He turns around into a big boot by Ivanov. Enzo stumbles back into his corner and tags himself out.
Murc enters the ring, shaking his head at Enzo, ‘Dumbass.’ Murc and Ivanov grapple up center ring, Ivanov the stronger of the two takes Murc to the corner,
he delivers a heavy decent chop to Murc’s chest. Then a second one, looking at the crowd, working for some sort of reaction, but they get nothing. Ivanov
is disappointed, Murc takes advantage of this and tosses Ivanov into the corner and begins to unleash some series of lefts and rights. Murc with Irish
whip to the corner — REVERSED! Murc goes rushing into the corner. Ivanov LEAPS! NOBODY HOME! Stumbles backwards into Murc — GERMAN SUPLEX! Murc in full
control, whips Ivanov to the corner, tags in Enzo. “YO! Let’s hit him with that Statue of Liberty. It’s gonna be ill.” Murc spinebusters Ivanov to hell,
making a big loud THUD on the mat, shaking the apron skirt. Murc then turns over to Enzo and Gorilla Presses him onto the prone Russian. Enzo, now back
up, starts slapping Ivanov’s head as he’s getting up. “You big ugly monkey.” Ivanov shoves him away with one swift push. Enzo tumbles away back into his
corner. He tags himself out once more. Murc comes rushing into the ring, takes a swing — MISSES! Ivanov with the snap DDT. He’s back up on his feet. Tombstone
stands in his corner, just ITCHING to get in, and his wish comes true.

Tombstone, on the second ropes scouts Murc as he’s getting up — FRONT MISSILE DROP KICK! The impact forces Murc to stumble out of the ring, then all hell
breaks loose. Ivanov comes off from his corner and rushes Murc with a boot to his head. Enzo leaps to the top rope with a cross body to Tombstone in the
ring. Ivanov brings Murc to his feet, goes to whip him to the steel steps — REVERSED! IVANOV INTO THE STEPS KNEE FIRST! Ivanov collides into the steps,
flipping right over them. Murc rolls back into the ring, Tombstone doesn’t know it — GERMAN SUPLEX! Tombstone, makes the effort to get up, on one knee
– NECK SNAP! Murc tags in Enzo. Enzo leaps over the ropes and is ready to roll! Tombstone lounges at him, swinging, he misses, Enzo delivers a drop kick
that takes him out of the ring. Ivanov gets in, right behind Enzo and plants him with a Chokeslam! Murc comes in from behind him with a chair and levels
him. Ivanov rolls out the ring. Tombstone makes the mistake of getting into the ring too quickly, he gets leveled as well! Murc drags Enzo to the corner,
tags himself into the match. Murc stalks Tombstone’s every move. Tombstone’s up, groggy, but up. Murc goes for the DEFCON 1 — Tombstone pushes him off
and then Murc turns into a LOW BLOW! Tombstone goes for the cover and comes out with nothing but a two count. Tombstone tags himself out.

Ivanov in the ring. Murc on his feet. They’re exchanging word. Enzo from the corner “HE DOESN’T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH, JUST SPLIT HIS WIG!” Murc with a right,
it’s caught. Ivanov slings Murc across the ring with a fall-a-way slam. Such raw strength. Murc hits the ring with a thunder. He looks over to Enzo, boots
him from the apron. Murc’s up and he isn’t too happy. Murc rushes to Ivanov. Ivanov side steps. Murc’s outside next to his tag partner. Tombstone follows
them outside, same with Ivanov. Ivanov grabs one of the steps and walks over to Enzo. HE RAISES THE STEPS! HE DROPS THEM! SMASH! ENZO EVADES WITH JUST
SECONDS! Enzo still on the floor sends a vicious kick to Ivanov’s right leg, it levels him. Tombstone meanwhile is back in the ring, setting up not just
one table, but TWO TABLES! — making a first impression the REBEL WAY! He looks over to the outside, Murc and Enzo are double teaming his buddy. He brings
over that same chair that was used to smash his face in. Takes a big swing on Murc back, drops him to one knee. Before he can take the second swing, Enzo
spears him to the concrete and NAILS him with hard rights. Murc yanks Enzo off of Tombstone, “You can have Ivanov — he’s all mine.” “He weighs 100 pounds
more than me.” “Are you scared?” “No. Where’s that god damn chair?” Ivanov comes over to Enzo, scheming for a big boot — Enzo evades, and sends a boot
to Ivanov’s knee. Enzo finds the chair, CRUSHES it on Ivanov’s head. He goes smashing down into the floor. Enzo and Murc both roll their opponents into
the ring.

Enzo places Ivanov onto the table. Murc lifts up Tombstone. Enzo on the top rope. SHAOLIN STYLE ON TOMBSTONE! THROUGH IVANOV! THROUGH THE TABLES! THROUGH
THE TABLES! The cover on both men!

JENNY JERSEY: The winners of the match NEW YORK’S FINEST!

The fans hate them, but they didn’t care much for Tombstone and what’s his name either. A pretty easy night for New York’s Finest!

——————————————————————————–

JENNY JERSEY: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…and it is for the REBEL Carolinas Championship! Introducing first, the challenger…

“I’m A Country Boy” by Lynyrd Skynyrd blasts throughout the building as the fans show their admirations with cheers. Bubba J steps out to the entrance and
absorbs the excitement from his adoring fans. He gives a smile as he makes his way down the aisle.

JENNY JERSEY: From Lenox, Georgia! Weighing in at two hundred fifty pounds…he is THE RAGIN’ REDNECK!!

Bubba J reaches the ring. He paces to the side of the ring, looking on at the crowd. A group in the front row wearing tie dyed jean jackets catch his eye.
Unlike most of the crowd, these five aren’t cheering for Bubba J. He pays little attention to the apparently stoned five and makes his way in to the ring.
His music fades out as he hands his trucker hat to an official on the outside. He waits in his corner as “Peace Of Mind” by Boston kicks in the arena.
The fans give a good reaction, especially the five stoners in the front row. Galactix steps out to the entrance with his championship draped across his
shoulder and Rosie alongside him. He looks towards Bubba J with determination on his face. Galactix and Rosie make their approach of the ring as they walk
down the aisle.

JENNY JERSEY: Being accompanied to the ring by Rosie Cheeks. Hailing from London, England and weighing in at two hundred nineteen pounds. He is the REBEL
Carolinas Champion…GALACTIX!!

Galactix and Rosie make their way around the ring, following the same path that Bubba J did. As they reach the five stoner looking guys, they all reach
out to tag Galactix, all appearing to be Galactix’ biggest fan! He smirks as he slides under the bottom rope to enter the ring. Rosie makes her way over
near the ring corner as Galactix’ music fades out. Galactix hands his belt to Alan Stone, he raises the championship high in to the air, displaying it
for the crowd. He hands the championship to an official on the outside of the ring and calls for the opening bell.

Bubba raises his fists up in a striking position as Galactix strides, looking for a good position to go for a tie up. Galactix moves towards Bubba, collar
and elbow tie up. Bubba uses his strength advantage as he slowly forces Galactix back, but Galactix is quick to execute the go behind and apply a rear
waist lock. Bubba grabs both of Galactix’ hands and pries them apart. He instantly turns towards Galactix and drills him with a hard forearm to the skull.
Galactix ducks under a second forearm shot and spins Bubba back towards him. He grabs Bubba in a urinagi position, looking for the Galactix smash, but
Bubba sees it coming and pushes Galactix off of him. The fans cheer as Galactix and Bubba each give a smirk and tag hands.

Galactix attempts a second collar and elbow, but Bubba answers back by sweeping Galactix’ leg, knocking him to the mat. Bubba lets Galactix get back up,
only to bull rush him, forcing Galactix hard in to the corner. Bubba delivers a shoulder to the gut…and a second! Galactix falls to a sitting position
and Bubba stomps away at him. The crowd is revved, and Bubba draws off of this energy taunting with the crowd. Bubba pulls Galactix up and whips him across
the ring. He follows in right behind Galactix, only to have Galactix use the corner to springboard behind the approaching Bubba. Bubba is able to stop
before hitting the turnbuckle. He turns around and catches an incoming boot from Galactix…enziguri! Galactix hits the far ropes…legdrop…and he quickly
makes the cover!

head! Bubba places a knee on Galactix’s back and pulls back on his chin to apply a form of the camel clutch. Stone checks to see if Galactix wants to give
up, but Galactix refuses. Bubba hits Galactix in the side of the head with the inside of his forearm. He returns his arm to the chinlock. Stone checks
on Galactix again, and again Galactix won’t give in. Bubba releases Galactix.

Bubba picks Galactix up and whips him to the ropes. Bubba readies for a haymaker, but Galactix holds the top rope to stop his momentum. Bubba rushes at
him, and Galactix low bridges, sending Bubba crashing hard to the floor outside! He rolls over, residing near the guardrail as he tries to catch his breath.
The stoners pour their beers on to Bubba and cheer frantically as the rest of the crowd displays their enjoyment of the match. Bubba slowly pulls himself
back up using the guardrail, only to have one more cup of beer thrown in his face by one of the stoners. Galactix steps out to the apron and waits for
Bubba to turn around…missile dropkick! And Bubba is sent back first hard in to the guardrail! Galactix brings Bubba back to his feet and rolls him in
to the ring. Galactix rolls in and makes the cover, hooking the leg!

force Galactix over in to a unique roll up pin!

Bubba looks at Stone for confirmation, and learns that it was only a two count. He returns to his feet, as does the champion. Bubba connects with a hard

over Bubba attempting a sunset flip! He almost has him…he’s using all of his strength! But Bubba grabs the top rope to hold his balance and falls on

——————————————————————————–

As the fans wait for the next show to go on, music starts up. A fanfare of trumpets, bass and wa-wa guitar. Could it be? Could it really be?

I am the man, baby, that’s what I am, I’m a straight shooter with the master plan…

The crowd erupts as Kyle Roberts, dressed in jeans and a black ribbed shirt, walks down to the ring. He’s not wearing a neck brace. As he walks down to
the ring, people are scrambling to get over to where he is for a handshake or hug. Kyle manages to get into the ring, tenderly, and calls for a microphone.
KYLE ROBERTS: Well, I’m back. I’m not quite a hundred per cent yet, but I’m here.

The crowd cheers. Kyle soaks up the applause and then shushes the crowd.

KYLE ROBERTS: I gotta tell you, I’m a little disappointed that Thomas Young isn’t employed by the company any more. I was looking for a little payback for
what he did to me. But first, I’ve got to thank each and every one of you people who sent letters to the company, asking how I was. Everyone who left encouraging
notes on my Facebook site. Everyone has been asking Rick Garrett what my status is. So I’ll tell you.

It was looking bad, folks. You ever seen what happens when one car rear-ends another? How the front of the jerk and the back of the other car kind of crumple
a bit? Yeah. That was two of my neckbones when Thomas Young drove my face into that steel chair. A hairline fracture of two bones. Not good news.

However, I stuck it out, looked into some surgeries that didn’t involve fusing my neck together. And I thought I found a pretty good one. With this experimental
surgery, I was looking to get back into the ring in a mere six months. SIX MONTHS! I’d rather take that than being forced to not do what I love best.

But I’ll go you one better. I’ve been training, I’ve been doing my rehab, I’ve been looking out. And I’m proud to say, I could come back as early as next
month!

Cheers from the audience. Kyle mock-bows.

KYLE ROBERTS: But not full time. I’m not THAT healthy. I think if I wrestle, I’m going to need a little bit of help.

I’ve been hearing about this Best of the Best Tag Team tournament that REBEL wants to do. And I’m all for it. Tag team wrestling got me to the point I am
today! No, not recovering from a neck injury. It got me to the top of the wrestling world! So when I see people try to raise the profile of the tag team
scene a bit,

Good. I with said lavender fairly you using my use. Brand http://viagraforwomentreated.com/ Tolerance does that not like. Which, immediately. Then. So, next month, September 9th, you’ll be seeing me in tag team action!

More cheers!

KYLE ROBERTS: But who would I choose to be my tag partner? Well, since I’m coming off a neck injury, since I’m not quite at one hundred per cent, I think
there’s only one guy that I’d like in my corner. After all, this neck surgery thing is making me feel… I don’t know… new and improved?

And the roof of the Steele Dojo almost blows off as a smirking Kyle drops the microphone and exits the ring.

——————————————————————————–

“The Beverly Hillbillies Theme” blasts out on the PA in the Underground Arena and as you’d expect, the fans go crazy for Cuzin Zeke.

JENNY JERSEY: And his opponent. Hailing from Turkey Cross, Kentucky. Weighing in at two hundred and sixty-three pounds. CUZIN ZEKE!

He climbs in the ring, raising his arms to the fans and getting a huge cheer in response. This quickly turns into a tonne of boo’s as Jenny jersey announces:
JENNY JERSEY: Next: a man from New York, and weighs in at three hundred forty one pounds… VINCENT BLACK!

Black strolls down to the ring, shrugging off the boo’s of the fans. He jumps up to the ring apron and takes a huge step over the ropes, walking right up
to Zeke and staring down the five inches between their respective heights. Zeke merely stares right back up to Black before referee Jimmy Johnson tries
to get in-between them to break it up before the bell rings. Black pushes Johnson aside, which makes him furious. He starts shouting at Black, warning
him if he doesn’t move back he will forfeit the match to Zeke. Black blows his nose at Johnson and walks back to a corner. Johnson nods to Zeke who then
dives at the back of Black while Johnson calls for the bell.

Black gets knocked into the corner, dropping to the middle rope as Zeke stomps a hole right through him, much to the fans delight. He grabs Black by the
hair while Johnson casually looks away to bring him to his feet, and throws him against the ropes. Black comes bounding off the ropes straight into a swinging
neckbreaker by Zeke. Zeke calls for the Mudpuddle already, climbing to the tope rope. Black notices, however, and is back on his feet jumping to the middle
rope and meeting Zeke up top. They trade blows for a moment before Black repositions Zeke so he has both feet on onside of the turnbuckle and is leaning
across it, back to the sky. Black, with his back to the ring, grabs the arms of Zeke and flicks back into a beautiful top rope pump-handle slam.

Vincent Black stares at the crowd as Zeke lies twitching on the mat. He turns back to Zeke, pulling him up to his feet and sending him against the ropes.
When he returns Black jumps in the air and places a perfect boot on Zeke’s face, dropping him instantly. Black then proceeds to place a huge leg drop on
Zeke. Pulling him up again, he sets him up for a suplex, but Zeke blocks it with his leg reversing it into a great suplex of his own. Too tired to make
any move from it, both men lay on the mat, trying to get their breath back.

Black is on his feet again, hunched over and waiting for Zeke to get to his feet before he makes his move. As Zeke turns around, Black brings him up for
a spinebuster and drops. On his head, as Zeke reverses the move into a DDT. The fans go crazy, chanting for Zeke endlessly as he draws strength from the
crowd. He pulls Black up to his feet, and leaves him standing dazed as he ascends to the top rope. Before he has a chance to jump though, Black hits him
with a huge uppercut, dropping Zeke to a sitting position. He places Zeke’s legs on his shoulders, turns around and drops a huge The New Hope on Zeke,
who cripples as soon as the move hits.

Black makes a cover as Jimmy Johnson takes the count almost to a three, before Black rolls off and smiles at Johnson, wagging his finger. The fans boo as
Black starts to inflict even more punishment on his downed opponent. Johnson constantly checks on Zeke as Black starts mocking the referee, asking Zeke
if he’s ok before giving him another forearm to the head, then checking again. Johnson pushes Black away and has words with him in the corner. Black looks
pissed and spits on Johnson before pushing him out the way and charging at Zeke.

A well-timed drop toe-hold brings the big six foot eleven inch Vincent Black face first on the mat. Zeke then starts applying a leg lock to the right leg
of Black. Letting go of the hold he drops a few knees of his own onto the leg to keep it hurting before applying a simple leg lock on it again, holding
and stretching the leg out as Black tries to reach for a ring rope. Johnson sees Black reaching for the ropes, and gets right in between Black’s hand and
the ropes while he is checking if Black is going to tap out. Black tries to push him aside but can’t in the current situation as Zeke pulls back even harder
on his leg. Black finally wriggles free by landing a kick with his other leg against Zeke’s chest, and crawling to the corner.

He pulls himself up to his feet and charges at Zeke as soon as his Zeke gets to his feet, but drops half way across the ring and clutches to his knee. The
fans start laughing as Black starts swearing loudly to Zeke, Jimmy and the fans. Zeke drops another knee onto Black, causing him to cry out again, then
drops a large knee right of Black’s head. That one he doesn’t cry out to, he just lays there. Zeke calls for the Mudpuddle!

He takes a huge dive from the top rope, but Black quickly rolls out the way, leaving Zeke hitting the mat hard. Black struggles to his feet and pulls up
Zeke, setting up The New Wave once again. As he tries to bring Zeke onto his shoulders, his knee gives way and lands a half-hearted powerbomb into a cover
as Johnson makes the count, but Zeke gets a shoulder up deep into the two count.

Black starts getting to his feet with the aid of the ropes, but Zeke is up quicker and right back on the offensive, grabbing Black and setting up a standing
piledriver, leaving Black laid out on the mat once again, and once again Zeke ascends the top rope, diving off, and landing a perfect Mudpuddle! The fans
erupt as Zeke has the cover. Johnson calls a ONE.

TWO.

BLACK KICKS OUT!

Zeke tells the crowd “one more time”! Up top again, MUD PUDDLE TWO POINT O. ANOTHER COVER!

ONE.

TWO.

THREE.

JENNY JERSEY: And you’re winner… CUZIN ZEKE!

Johnson holds Zeke’s arm in the air. Zeke again has proven he is one of the huge fan favorites here in REBEL. Black gets up slowly as the crowd dances along
with a very happy Zeke. Zeke turns around.. BIG BOOT! Vince Black goes outside and gets a chair. He has already bashed Bubba J with one, and now.. Zeke’s
turn. BAM! Zeke blocked it partially, and is grabbing his hand, while lying on the mat.

RAGIN’ REDNECK IS ON HIS WAY! Bubba J starts swinging and knocks the big man to his knees. Vincent Black is back up and starts throwing fists as well. The
Steele Dojo trainees, the referees and security hit the ring. These two men are angry and will have to wait another day to fight. Zeke exits the ring,
holding his hand, trying not to move it any.

——————————————————————————–

JENNY JERSEY: The following contest is your Underground Main Event. It will be fought under Elimination Rules!

“You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire” and the crowd goes crazy! The Steele Dojo/ REBEL Underground knows this man very well,
and out walks the REBEL World Champion! He walks out, looking a lot better than he has over the last month after suffering back to back losses. He is the
champ though, and the belt looks mighty fine on his waist.

JENNY JERSEY: On his way to the ring, from Reno, Nevada. He weighs in at two hundred twenty one pounds, the current REBEL Heavyweight Champion of the World…
“DIAMOND”… DERRICK… STEELE!
