Aerial Assault Night One 07/28/2008

07/28/2008
FIRST ROUND: TRENT DANIELS VS GALACTIX

Trent Daniels and Galactix are in the ring, both circling each other and ready to begin this first round match-up for Aerial Assault. Out in the crowd on
the first row we see two members of Daniels’ “Street Team” members in TD tees jumping and cheering wildly how will they react when the match actually starts?
We’re about to find out as referee Jimmy Johnson calls for the bell and we’re under way. The two wrestlers meet in the middle of the ring for a quick handshake
and that in itself is odd in REBEL come on boys get to it. They lock up collar and elbow and quickly Galactix is down thanks to an arm-drag by Daniels.
Trent follows up with an arm-bar before Galactix makes it to his feet. Daniels pushes Galactix to the ropes and sends him to the under side of the ring
with an Irish Whip and as Galactix comes back Daniels plants him again with a beautiful Japanese arm-drag. He follows that up with an elbow-drop to Galactix’s
chest. Trent looks a little unsure what to do now but his “Street Team” members still cheer wildly. After a few seconds Trent climbs the turnbuckle to
try a high risk maneuver, and that’s what this tournament is about. Daniels flies but is met with a beautiful dropkick by the Carolinas Champion.

Galactix follows up by pulling Daniels to his feet and giving several hard lefts in his injured ribs. Daniels’ fans boo this but you show your injuries
in wrestling, you give your opponents a target. Trent grabs his ribs in pain as Galactix continues his offense. Galactix kicks Trent in his injured ribs
and as Daniels is doubled over grabs him and plans him with a stump piledriver. Galactix wastes no time going for a pin but Johnson only counts two before
Trent Daniels kicks out. Both wrestler make it back to their feet and Galactix kicks at Trent but his foot is caught…Standing Enziguri by Galactix puts
Daniels on the mat again. Galactix pulls Trent up and after several more hard left-handed shots to Trent ribs. Galactix gets happy feet and hit’s the “Shake,
Rattle, and Roll” neck-breaker on Daniels. Galactix covers again and still only gets a two count. Galactix is back up quicker that Daniels and climbs the
turnbuckles but takes his time trying to get the crowd behind him some more. As Daniels slowly makes it to his feet Galactix comes off the ropes looking
to connect with a Missile Dropkick. Trent ducks and Galactix crashes and burns on the mat and now Trent has an opening.

Trent picks up Galactix sends him into the ropes and catches him coming off with his “Wake Up Call” combination. Galactix is dazed by the impact of this
move and is staggered even more by an European uppercut from Daniels. Trent presses his advantage with a snap suplex that puts the Carolinas Champ down
hard. Trent pauses as if trying to figure out his next move and Galactix uses his hesitation against him as he makes it back to his feet and unloads a
vicious shoulder block into Trent ribs. Daniels staggers back from this blow into the corner and Galactix follows him in with another shoulder block. Galactix
signals to the crowd that he’s going for a third shoulder block and backs up to get a good running start. Galactix charges Trent for another shoulder block
but is met with a Discus Elbow Smash by Daniels. Galactix staggers backward and is taken all the way down by dropkick by Trent. Daniels climbs through
the ropes and slingshots himself back in with a splash on Galactix. Trent is slow to get after this move and his holding his ribs. Galactix seeks to take
advantage of this and charges Trent who ducks under Galactix’s clothesline attempt. Daniels hit’s the opposite ropes and rebounds with a bulldog before
Galactix can turn around. Trent pulls Galactix up and blocks a lefthanded punch to the ribs and retaliates with his “Ottawa Trios” kicks. Galactix goes
down to one knee but tries to stand back up straight but Trent doesn’t give him time to do so as he Snapmares Galactix over and dropkicks him in the spine.
Daniels takes time to soak in the cheers of the crowd and as he does Galactix makes it to his feet and charges at him. Trent sees him and jumps up and
hits a hurracanranna on Galactix that takes him out of the ring. Galactix hits the floor and Trent plays to the crowd instead of following up. Trent stops
playing to the crowd and backs up to get a running start at the ropes he sees the back of Galactix’s and runs across and attempts a baseball slide dropkick
but Galactix moves.

Trent goes all the out to floor because of his momentum Galactix meets him with a vicious chairshot. Galactix then tosses the chair into the ring, picks
up Trent and rolls him back under the ropes. Back in the ring Galactix gets the chair and when Trent finally makes

it back to his feet, the Carolinas Champ
drives the chair into his ribs…once…twice…three times. Galactix charges at Trent, who is on his knees in pain, with the chair raised for another shot.
Trent however counters with a drop toe hold causing Galactix to crash into the mat and the chair himself. Trent grabs Galactix from behind and puts him
down with a Russian Legsweep. Trent then connects with a standing Moonsault and follows with a leg drop. Trent pauses briefly and winces again in pain
but climbs the turnbuckles again. Trent points at the motionless from of Galactix and then comes off the ropes with a Diving Crossbody Block. At the last
second, Galactix gets his knees up and Daniels’ already injured ribs slam into them. Galactix follows this with two vicious knees one to each side of Trent’s
ribs. Galactix grabs Daniels while he’s still bent over holding his ribs and plants him with a vicious piledriver. Galactix gloats for the merest second
before scaling the nearest turnbuckles and flying off with the Galactix Splash! Fans scream for Trent to move but the splash connects! Referee Jimmy Johnson
counts

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

The ref calls for the bell as he grabs the Carolinas Championship from an official on the outside. Galactix returns to his feet and is handed his championship.
Jimmy Johnson raises his arm in the air at Trent still lays on the mat holding his ribs. Galactix makes his way to the back as the referee helps Trent
Daniels back to his feet.

FIRST ROUND: ENZO VS DIO MUERTE

“Black Pus” by Devilhellipers blasts throughout the arena. Fans boo as Muerte appears at the entrance way, barbed-wire baseball bat in hand. He slowly stalks
his way to the ring without acknowledging anyone at ringside. Once inside the ring, he tosses his bat down in disgust and kicks it to the corner. He leans
against the turnbuckles and shakes his head like he doesn’t want to be there.

The boos continue throughout the arena as “Knock Knock” by GZA begins playing. Enzo comes from behind the curtain, pointing toward the ring with his crowbar.
Murcielago follows behind him at a distance. As he walks to the ring, he feigns a swing at a few fans at ringside. He rolls into the ring and puts his
crowbar down in his corner.

The bell sounds and Enzo puts his hand up, signaling Muerte to stop. Enzo turns to the crowd and flips them off one side of the ring at a time. He points
at Muerte as if to say “F**k them, f**k the tournament, let’s brawl.” A smirk can be seen though the mouth hole of Muerte’s mask as he nods. The two charge
each other and immediately clinch the other’s head with one hand, reigning in closed fists with the other. Neither man seems to get an early advantage
as punches continue to flow until Enzo finally shoves Muerte off. He checks to make sure he’s not busted open, then charges once again, only to meet Muerte’s
elbow right to the nose! Enzo stumbles backwards, and Muerte goes to his corner to grab his bat. He comes back at Enzo and swings violently, but Enzo is
able to duck just in time, then delivers a stiff kick to Muerte’s ribs. Muerte drops his bat and Enzo continues the attack with a quick head scissor take
down! Muerte immediately rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. He looks towards the entrance way, as if to contemplate leaving the match. While he’s
not looking, Enzo walks toward the ropes and grips them, ready to leap over. He slingshots himself into the air, but Muerte turns around, sees him in the
air, and scampers out of the way. Enzo corrects himself in mid air and is able to land on the ring apron. Muerte, thinking he’s out of harm’s way, turns
his back and walks along the guard rail. Enzo capitalizes on Muerte’s mistake, and runs off the apron into him, sending Muerte crashing face first into
the guard rail! Both men lay motionless against the guard rail, and blood can be seen seeping through Muerte’s ski mask. Enzo is the first to begin moving,
slowly pulling himself to his feet using the guard rail. He grabs Muerte by the mask and drags him back toward the ring as blood drips to the floor. Enzo
uses all his strength to roll Muerte into the ring, and follows closely behind. He lays on top of him for a pin, not hooking the leg, but only gets a two
count as somehow Muerte gets his shoulder off the mat!

Enzo crawls to his corner and grabs his crow bar. He walks back over to Muerte and brings him to his feet. Enzo sends Muerte into the ropes, waiting to
hit him with his crowbar. Enzo swings away but Muerte somehow ducks! Muerte stops in his tracks and turns around. As Enzo’s momentum from swinging turns
him to Muerte, he is met with a Shuffle Side Kick to the jaw, sending him to the mat! Muerte, still feeling the effects of his face hitting the guard rail,
drops to the mat as well. He slowly makes his way to Enzo, and drapes his arm over Enzo’s chest. The ref begins counting the pin but Enzo gets his shoulder
up at TWO! Muerte shakes his head in disgust, and slowly gets back to his feet. He grabs Enzo by the head and drags him to the near corner, draping him
against the bottom turnbuckle. Muerte grabs his bat and positions it against Enzo’s face. He slowly goes to the other side of the ring and steps through
onto the apron. The fans rise to their feet in anticipation as Muerte pulls himself onto the top rope and then leaps through the air…but Enzo rolls out
of the way and Muerte hits nothing but canvas! Enzo gets to his feet and shakes away the cobwebs, holding Muerte’s bat. He looks at it, then Muerte, and
smiles. He puts the end of the bat against Muerte’s face and begins grinding down as barbwire meets flesh. Muerte tries to fight it, but by grabbing the
bat he gets two hands full of barbed-wire for his troubles! Enzo yanks the bat away, ripping away at Muerte’s hands and face. He tosses the bat away and
pulls Muerte to his feet. Enzo puts his leg over Muerte’s head, setting him up for the Accelerator, but Muerte, almost by instinct alone, uses all his
strength to lift up and flips Enzo backwards to the canvas! Muerte, with a sense of urgency, goes to the corner and slowly begins to climb the turnbuckle.
With his back turned, Enzo starts to recover and sneaks up behind him. As Muerte reaches the top rope, Enzo hits away his leg, crotching him on the turnbuckle.
Enzo climbs the turnbuckle and turns Muerte around. He hooks him for a superplex, but Muerte somehow gets in a few shots to slow him down! Muerte and Enzo
trade blows with Enzo eventually getting the advantage. He hooks Muerte’s head for a superplex, but instead of lifting him over, he twists Muerte around
for a TOP ROPE SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Muerte’s head snaps back off the canvas for a third time, and Enzo goes for the cover…ONE, TWO, THREE! Enzo falls
back to the mat to catch his breath as the bell rings.

Murcielago rolls into the ring with a bottle of water and pours some over Enzo’s head as he celebrates with his tag partner.

Falcon smacks Chad’s arms off him and feeds him a headbutt, runs back into the ropes…flies through the air and drives his forearm right into Chad’s face!
Chad stumbles out of the ring and down to ground below. Falcon is left standing in the ring alone, giggling to himself. Chad is up on the outside as Falcon
charges and gets Chad with a frog splash off the top ropes to the outside! Falcon is up first, digging under the ring for something. Chad is up and grabs
Falcon from behind, hitting him with a back body drop which drills the Falcon’s head off the steel guard rail! Chad reaches under the ring and pulls out
a ladder. He slides it into the ring, turns to Falcon who is still lying on the ground, and feeds him a couple boots to the face.

Chad climbs in to the ring and sets the ladder up. He turns and yells at the Falcon.

“Come on, is this what you wanted?”

Pointing to the ladder, Jacob is up smiling and nodding his head.

“That’s exactly what I wanted.”

He hops into the ring. Chad barely lets him get to his feet before he grabs him and tosses him into the corner, feeding him a buffet of punches to the face.
The Falcon can be heard laughing like a mad man, the harder Chad hits the louder the laugh becomes. Falcon grabs Chad by the back of the head and switches
spots with Chad, returning the favor, One, Two, Three, Four, Five SIX! Falcon goes over to the ladder, folds it up as he holds it in his hands. He charges

the ladder up in the corner, walks over to Chad, kneels down over his body and begins to punch the shit out of him. Eight punches later, Falcon gets off
of Chad and kicks him in the face! He walks over to the ladder, climbs to the top and SPREADS HIS WINGS.

“Sub Zero” by The Immortals plays as Mystic Ninja makes his way down the aisle, slapping hands with all the willing fans as he goes.

“Why Don’t We Do It On The Road” by The Beatles starts up as the crowd erupts in cheers. Assman steps out from the back and performs his trademark wiggle
as the REBEL fans eat it up, before continuing towards the ring.

The bell sounds, and the two competitors head towards the center of the ring. A quick handshake and we’re good to go. They lock up collar and elbow, and
the larger Trey manages to overpower his opponent, forcing Ninja back against the ropes. Followed by a chop from Assman, and an Irish whip sends Ninja
across the ring – springboarding off the ropes with a moonsault! Early pin attempt – only gets a one count, though! Both men hurry back to their feet as
Trey ducks around the back, applying a hammerlock. It’s reversed rather quickly as Mystic Ninja goes for the hammerlock of his own, but Assman fires off
a few back elbows before countering with a snapmare. And he’s off against the ropes, coming back with a devastating dropkick to the kisser! No pin attempt
this time, instead Trey lifts his opponent back to his feet and lands a boot to the gut. It’s enough to double Mystic Ninja over, moments before being
taken down by a Russian legsweep!

Both men climb back to their vertical bases, though, and Assman starts throwing some rights. The Ninja is getting rocked as the fifth punch leaves him dazed.
Assman runs against the ropes for some momentum, coming back with a lariat – DUCKED! Dropkick counter by Mystic Ninja sends Mike Trey tumbling through
the ropes, onto the apron outside. He pulls himself back up with the aid of the ropes – but Ninja is flying with a MISSILE DROPKICK! Assman falls from
the apron, but lands on his feet. He turns around to face the ring – just in time to sidestep the baseball slide! Mystic Ninja lands upright on the outside

a back suplex from nowhere as he goes for the pin – getting a two count! Both men hurry back to their feet – and there’s a stand off as the mutual admiration
flows between them like the Neuse River. Another collar and elbow tie up ensues, and Assman gains the upper hand with a standing wrist lock. Ninja winces,
possibly, but he flips through and applies a wrist lock of his own! Sure, it gets countered a moment later as Assman turns the wrist lock into a hammerlock.

a little wiggle before diving off with an elbow drop. NO! Ninja rolled out of the way!

Mystic Ninja uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet, followed closely behind by Assman. But it’s the masked man who strikes first with his Kabuki
Kick, sending Trey staggering back against the turnbuckle. Ninja charges in, going for the monkey flip that sends Assman across the ring – but he lands
on his feet! Only to get taken down by a headscissors takedown! Assman lands in the corner before he regains his vertical base, and Mystic Ninja is right
on his case with a tornado DDT! Lateral press by Mystic Ninja. ONE! TWO! THRNO! Ninja slowly gets back to his feet, obviously still feeling the effects
of that powerbomb, but he drags Assman back to his feet as well. Ninja goes against the ropes before connecting with a flying clothesline! Both men get
back to their feet, and Ninja connects with a spinning heel kick! Assman is staggered. An Irish whip sends the Brit towards the corner – but he floats

to bring himself back to a vertical base. Mystic Ninja does the same, but he’s woozy. Assman grabs his opponent from behind again. A SECOND ASS CRACKER!
He covers. ONE! TWO! THREE!

Assman slides out of the ring and again gives the crowd a wiggle, much to their delight.

levels the Rebel-first timer with a VICIOUS clothesline. “REF! TIME OUT. MY SHOES!” He brings out a handkerchief from his jacket and goes to work on his
loafers. He even brings out a small bottle of polishing oil. There good as new. “MEAT STEAK! HOW DO YOU LIKE MY SHOES NOW? YOU (BLEEP)!” He starts to choke
the life out of Satake with his freshly shined shoes. Satake tries to battle free from the shoe, but it’s in there tight. Thompson frees his grip to bring

FIRST ROUND: ENRIQUE RODRIGUEZ VS EL FIERO

“Kings and Queens” by Aerosmith begins playing from the speakers in the building and Enrique Rodriguez steps out from behind the curtain, by himself. He
enters the ring to fanfare from the crowd.

“Dig” by Mudvayne blares over the PA as the crowd cheers and looks to the entrance… but once they see El Fiero, they begin to boo. Because El Fiero, while
wearing a black and red mask with flames, is ALSO wearing a wifebeater, black gloves, black pants and steel-toed boots. He’s also about a foot taller than
the usual Mexican luchador is supposed to be.

Enrique Rodriguez is complaining to the official, and who can blame him? “El Fiero” steps over the top rope and cracks his knuckles – even under the mask,
you can tell he’s grinning. The referee shakes his head and calls for the bell to start the match. Enrique goes right after Fiero, who goes for a big boot,
but Rodriguez ducks, goes off the ropes and lands a dropkick! The big man is staggered, and another one still doesn’t knock him down! Rodriguez with a
third dropkick but it’s swatted away, and a big forearm knocks him down. Fiero tosses him into the corner and unloads with big soupbones to the mush before
throwing Rodriguez out of the corner and dropping an elbow for the cover. TWO COUNT!

Rodriguez back to his feet after that elbow drop, as Fiero stalks him in the corner.. right misses, and Enrique unloads with punches himself as he gets
up on the second rope and punches down! Fiero shoves him out of the corner hard.. big boot to the head misses, Enrique off the ropes, FLYING HEADSCISSORS,
THROWN OFF! Enrique with another dropkick, and a spinkick! Fiero is staggered as Rodriguez goes to the outside! SPRINGBOARD BODYPRESS IS CAUGHT! Fiero
backs up.. and throws him over his head into the turnbuckles with a sickening impact!

Fiero lightly pushes the referee away and adjusts his loose-fitting mask over his black goatee as he picks up Rodriguez and sets him up… TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!
Fiero covers… AND PULLS HIM UP AT TWO! The referee’s asking him why, and Fiero waves him off. He slugs down Rodriguez with a big punch to make sure he
stays down.. then goes to to the corner! He’s on the bottom rope… and no further! BOTTOM ROPE ELBOW DROP CONNECTS! Fiero hooks the leg tight, and it’s
academic.. ONE! TWO! THREE!

Fiero demands that the referee raise his gloved hand, and he does, shaking his head in disgust the whole time at this farce. Fiero steps over the ropes
to the floor, enjoying the boos and catcalls of the crowd, as the referee tends to the fallen Rodriguez.
