BIO: Jacob Figgins was born into the prolific Figgins wrestling family, who have been wrestling since the 1890′s. Being the fifth generation wrestler of the family, they attempted to groom Jacob in their own image to be the next big thing. Finding the traditional Figgins wrestling style a little too mundane, Jacob moved in with his uncle at the age of sixteen. On the trampoline in his uncle’s back yard, he began to teach himself the ropes of wrestling along with the help of his cousin Derrick, Lacey Gloria, and Lance Gloria. He began to take Aikido class and study tapes of Muay Boran in order to make up for his lack of proper training in wrestling. By the time he reached the age of nineteen, he had joined up with a small regional promotion known as Central States Wrestling. His first persona was simply Lance Jacobs, he teamed up with Lance Gloria, who took on the persona of Nathan Propaganda, and Finally Lacey as the manager. The team was dubbed the Conspiracy Corporation because of their gimmick as Conspiracy theorists. Things looked up for all three members of the team until Nathan faced a career ending injury to his neck. Feeling responsible for the accident, Jacob begins to search for a position in bigger promotions to help pay for the surgery. After countless applications, a talent scout from World Wide Hardcore Wrestling in the south pacific finally set up an interview for him.

Figgins got accepted into the promotion, having his first match under his legal name against Samhane. Figgins obtained a hard fought victory over the man. Impressed by his ability, Figgins later got a job in the internationally known GWA. Figgins one again claims a victory in a triple threat match, with the bigger fan base came an enemy. Danny Daemon, a man rather upset by having his debut victory taken by Jacob. On the road to El Dorado pay per veiw, Jacob get’s his first world title shot against Roy Chambers. He came short of victory and a long losing streak started. GWA, finding themselves too corporate decided to drop their television contracts and go indy. With the new movement for the company, Figgins decided to make a change as well. While wrestling in GWA he began to sign up tour commitments with europe. While taking the tour commitments he attended Hammer Lock academy in England. He brought his new style to the south pacific soon becoming a house hold name in the south pacific. In 2006, Jacob worked for two more promotions. A nationally known promotion known as CTC. But when the politics became too much, Jacob ignored his contractual obligations and walked out of the company. Jacob also joined up with AWA, claiming their world title on his debut match, yet a week later, the company closed down. So Figgins found himself wrestling solely in GWA, having a long feud with Danny Daemon. He twice claimed the IGTT being the first and last man to hold it.

GWA closed down in 2007, leaving him jobless. Until he got an offer to be vice president of a company in England known as NLS. Jacob took up the job and wrestled for the company as well as working with the board of directors. He had to take off time however when he sustained a severe concussion by the hands of Killah K. By the time he returned the company had closed down.

Jacob bought the rights to NLS and converted it into a wrestling school in Ireland. There, he got married. He continued solely working for the school until in 2008 he applied to PWA. His tryout match was against a five time PWA champion known as Showtime. Jacob didn’t succeed in obtaining the television title from the man, due to a time limit draw. But the management was so impressed with him they gave him a shot at the Grizzly beer title soon after. This time he was successful taking the title in a barbed wire blindfolded match. Jacob had a successful defense of the title a month later, but the week after he was put into intensive care due to another severe concussion. He was forced to relinquish the title.

Jacob returned to PWA as soon as he was medically cleared to do so. On his return he teamed up with the Russian Vitally Petrov in a tag team elimination match. His team was victorious. The next week he faced Vitally and went to Russia in order to get a better idea of Sambo, and he continued to study the style afterward. At the next pay per view he participated in the money in the bank ladder match and came short. But he soon rebounded by going to the finals of the Who’s the Man!? Tournament while also gaining #1 contendership for the tag team titles with Hunter Sullivan. Figgins had double duty at the Who’s the Man!? Payper view. The tournament finals against Hunter, and a tag title match against the Renegade Souljahz. Hunter and Figgins fought their match to a double pin, both of them getting a #1 contender shot at the world title. They both go on to claim the tag titles in the same night. They also reveal their affiliation with the faction known as the pantheon.

At High Stakes, Jacob faced Johnny Maverick , which he soon discovered to be the son of his long time nemesis Danny Daemon. After a bloody barbed wire match Figgy came up short to getting a shot at the Grizzly Beer title. But that wasn’t the last Jacob has seen of Johnny, for a month later he participated in the case matches. When the cases where revealed, both Johnny and Jacob obtained a shot at the tag titles. Despite the tension between them, they won the tag gold. One that same night, Pantheon arouse from it’s slumber, revealing it’s new member Matthew Engel.
