Winter Blast 2012

The show started off with Mikey and Bubba J facing off in a Pure Honor match, Mikey going for the humilation of leading this best of 5 matches with a 2 – 0 lead and on tp of that forcing the Hardcore fighter to fight in a strictly wrestling match. Mikey started out dominating this in the early going, exchanging headlocks for arm bars, arm locks into submission holds; but Bubba J countered a figure four by reversing the hold and forcing Mikey to use one of his rope breaks as J would just power back and forth. Bubba J then went on to dominate the match with a stunning series of wrestling holds, leg trap submissions, leg grapevines, and a bow and arrow submission on the former Rebel Pro World Champion. Mikey grunted out in pain, but refused to use another rope break, but somehow manageed to counter one of Bubba J’s newly learned wrestling holds into a front facelock. Mikey was able to chain wrestle into a front face choke type hold, but it is perfectly legal; forcing Bubba J to use one of his rope breaks before too much time and damage had been done.

The two men were forced apart and then quickly came back together with Mikey with a go behind into a German suplex, but was unable to hold the bridge for the pin as J shifted his weight to prevent such a thing happening. J

was able to roll over, then forward as they got up and flip Mikey over onto his back before locking on a wristlock submission hold center ring. However Mikey was able to break out of this easily, but as he charged at Bubba J, the anger getting the better of him, J leaped up into the air, avoided the charging Mikey, and used his momentum to roll him up from behind, his head landing solidly on the ring for the pin and the surprise upset win.

Winner: Bubba J 15:19

The crowd was buzzing after the Pure Honor match and Bubba J’s knowledge of technical wrestling, not to mention the spectacle that the two men put on in the match. Anyways, it was time for the second match of the evening and one of the biggest since the Kingdom of Death match at Rebel Pro’s Birthday Bash last year as the Tag Team Turmoil match was set to take place next. Each wrestler was introduced and came down to the ring before the match could begin. The match started off with Virgil Keenan eliminating JT Whiplash while JT was trying to look at Emily’s boobs without anyone knowing; Virgil really caught him by surprise though. Anyways Emily was too busy to notice as she was eliminating one of the biggest people in the match, Taboo. Taboo hit the floor on the other side from JT Whiplash as Emily’s husband was eliminating Hostile from the contest as well. Hostile had just stepped into the ring and the bell rung before Johnny nailed him with a spinning heel kick right out of nowhere to eliminate him. Meanwhile, the people with the best chance to win, Case Filed Rockets(and only tag team in this match) eliminated Jimmy Henderson with a double elbow shot to the face that knocked him out and over the top rope. Now, the participants faced each other in the ring, ready to do battle.

Johnny locked horns with Virgil, Emily with Justin Case, and his tag team partner of Rocky Logan. CFR really had Emily on the ropes, threatening to eliminate her, but an Irish whip from Virgil sent Johnny slamming into the ropes near enough to them that an elbow caught Rocky in the temple. Rocky turned his attention to Johnny, who lashed out with MMA style kicks to the legs of Rocky Logan, backing him up against the corner. Johnny with a quick leap sent the bottom of his boot into Case’s skull, getting him off his wife. Johnny and Emily shared a quick passionate kiss, but Virgil was quick to interupt this embrace as he tried to eliminate both of them at once. However, unfortunately for Virgil and his chances; the married couple eliminated him over the top rope. However, for Johnny, his night was cut short as well as Virgil managed to eliminate the Aggression Champion before Virgil’s feet actually touched the floor. Virgil was kneeling on the canvas and Emily’s boot to the face, finished off his elimination to bring it down to only 3 participants here to crown the new Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions. The match continued for several minutes with Emily trying to hold her own against the team of Case Filed Rockets and the nut shot to Rocky put him on his knees and her and Justin exchanged several hardcore blows. Somehow chairs, lead pipes, and other weapons made its way into the ring and were promptly used. Justin and Emily were both bleeding from their bodies, mostly from their heads and faces, but were still going at it. Rocky got back involved by accidently sending Justin down to one knee with a chair shot intended for emily. Rocky nodded at his partner as an apology before Justin indicated that Rocky whip Emily towards him. Emily countered the whip and Justin eliminated Rocky Logan instead! Justin couldn’t believe it and Rebel Pro had new Tag Team Champions!

Jenny Jersey: New Rebel Pro Tag Team Champions… the team of Justin Case and Emily Corlen!

The match then continued for 20 minutes as both tried to eliminate the other and claim the Singles title shot of their choice. But the end came down when Justin Case lifted Emily up for a back body over the top rope and she landed heavily on the apron. Case spun around and Emily nailed him in the crotch with a kick before flipping herself back in and knocking the Green Game over the top rope to claim her Singles Title shot in Rebel Pro. Justin layed on the floor holding himself as Emily’s music blared to life in the arena and the crowd jumped back up to their feet with chants of “We you Emily!”

The show faded to black with Emily holding her TGW World Title and one half of the Rebel Pro Tag belts, but also with Lisa Seldon standing at the top of the entrance ramp.
